Hi everyone haha I visited Misikga-ui Udon Daeyeon Direct Branch, an udon restaurant in Daeyeon-dong, Busan.

Where to park at Misikga-ui Udon, outside Daeyeon Station Exit 6

Misikga-ui Udon Daeyeon Direct Branch is right outside Exit 6 of Daeyeon Station, so the location was great. For parking, you can use the Korea Private Parking Lot behind Korea Hospital.

Inside Misikga-ui Udon: seating for solo diners and families with babies

Here's the inside of Misikga-ui Udon Daeyeon Direct Branch. The wood-tone interior gave it a warm feel. Each seat had a partition, so I could eat comfortably.

There's also a bar table, which looks great for solo dining.

There's a baby chair too, so it's good for visiting as a family.

Right in front of the bar seating there were a lot of commendation plaques on display. Apparently they're from various community contribution activities.

Misikga-ui Udon Daeyeon Direct Branch runs as a restaurant-plus-izakaya in the evenings. But even during the day, you can order from the drinking-snack menu!! Orders are placed via the tablet on the table, and payment is prepaid.

This is the menu at Misikga-ui Udon Daeyeon Direct Branch. What surprised me most was that a 300cc draft beer or a soju is just ₩1,990!!! So cheap I was shocked (if only I hadn't driven..). Leaving that regret behind, I ordered the combo set (udon) and the hamburg steak set.

Everything I ordered arrived. Let me introduce each dish one by one.

Combo set (udon): house-made noodles with tonkatsu and curry rice

First up is the combo set (udon). It comes with udon, curry rice, and tonkatsu (breaded pork cutlet), plus kimchi and cabbage salad.

I was especially looking forward to this udon. The noodles here are made in-house through a special process, cooked right at the moment of ordering, so they're known for their springy, chewy texture.

I took a bite along with the broth. Wow, truly springy and chewy — the noodles were so good. I could tell why this place is known as an udon restaurant.

And then the crispy tonkatsu. Since it came as part of a set, I expected a small portion, but a whole cutlet came out!! Crispy outside, moist inside.

I ate it with the sauce plus wasabi and whole grain mustard. It went well with any sauce.

Lastly, the curry rice. The curry is topped with a soft-boiled fried egg.

I mixed it well and took a bite. The moist curry rice was so good. It paired really well with the tonkatsu.

Next up is the hamburg steak set. It comes with hamburg steak, a soft-boiled egg, savory broth, furikake rice, cabbage salad, pickled radish, and kimchi.

Cutting into the hamburg steak, the yolk came gushing out — the visual was pure art, ㅠㅠ.

Look at how moist this hamburg steak is — perfect.

Loaded with sauce and eaten together with a tomato, nom. This tastes like the textbook version of hamburg steak — moist and so delicious.

And near the exit, there's a coffee machine. It even has ice and syrup ready, perfect for dessert.

After a great meal, get your parking ticket stamped and show it — free parking, all done!!

Is Misikga-ui Udon in Daeyeon-dong worth a visit?

Misikga-ui Udon Daeyeon Direct Branch, an udon restaurant in Daeyeon-dong, Busan!! The location near Daeyeon Station Exit 6 and its own parking lot made things really convenient. In particular, the udon at Misikga-ui Udon Daeyeon Direct Branch is house-made and cooked right at order time, so the springy noodles were incredibly good. The crispy tonkatsu and moist hamburg steak were perfect too.

Since it turns into an izakaya at night, I'd like to come back for an evening visit too. With a wide variety of drinking snacks and drinks at just ₩1,990, I'd recommend this place for both lunch and dinner.
