Pork gukbap (dwaeji gukbap)

The most basic of the basics, pork gukbap. Milky broth paired with tender pork with zero odor! Using meat with just the right ratio of lean meat to fat makes this perfect for anyone looking for a clean-tasting pork gukbap.

Intestine gukbap

Calling all offal lovers! This is the intestine gukbap. Packed with osori-gamtu (pork stomach lining), it had absolutely none of the musty smell that offal can sometimes have, and it was among the most tender intestine gukbap I've ever had. You could really tell how much care went into prepping the ingredients.

Pork jowl gukbap

Want meat with an even richer meaty aroma? This is the pork jowl gukbap.

A bowl of pork jowl gukbap piled high with meat

It's packed full of pork jowl meat, but it's not greasy at all. The pork jowl has a deep meaty aroma and a rich, savory flavor, and it was so tender that it was satisfying with every single bite.

Naturally, gukbap needs a generous helping of chives thrown in~ I seasoned it with salted shrimp and even mixed in rice, making for a hot, hearty meal, done and dusted.

Busy even at 2 p.m.: the verdict on Geumsu Dwaeji Gukbap

Geumsu Dwaeji Gukbap Gyeongseong-Pukyongdae Branch left an impression with its clean, odor-free pork gukbap and its tender, juicy meat.
