Sushi Resto is a fixture in Sejong's 3rd-life district — a sushi place near Sejong City Hall. It used to be a small sushi shop in Sodam-dong before it got popular and expanded, moving to a new location. Any regulars out there who remember that history? Me, haha 🙋♀️ It's now on the 2nd floor of Icom Star City, in the Hyundai Motors building in Sodam-dong. Spacious, modern Japanese restaurant, and parking is easy too 🅿️

You order via the tablet on the table. Pickled ginger, rakkyo, and soy sauce are set out 🧄 I overheard another table asking for chojang (vinegar chili sauce) and they had it ready too 😉

The standard chadol (beef brisket) udon gets good reviews too, but this time I was curious about the cream udon, so that's what we picked 🤍 It comes generously topped with flying fish roe, chopped green onion, imitation crab, and carrot.
The thick, creamy sauce was really, genuinely more delicious than I expected 🥹
Paired with the chewy, thick udon noodles, this cream udon has its own charm, different from pasta 🤍 Cold sushi and futomaki, hot shrimp tempura, and thick creamy udon, all in one meal 😋 This combination is the best.
