Rubina Skin & Body is at 37 Cheongsa-ro, Uijeongbu-si, Gyeonggi-do, Sinsegae Plaza, Room 403, South Korea. It's across from the Homeplus in Geumo-dong, Uijeongbu, on the 4th floor of the building with a Paris Baguette on the ground floor, just a 5-minute walk from Bukbu Cheongsa Station on the light rail.

This is my real review after getting my collarbone and upper body thoroughly worked loose and a facial contouring treatment at "Rubina," the lymphatic massage spot in Uijeongbu, as a woman in my 40s 🖐

I came in with high expectations because I'd heard there's a skilled director here with 32 years of experience in skin care! She's been running this same spot in Uijeongbu for 15 years, and apparently over 80% of her clients are repeat customers.

The consultation for IPP contour care and decolletage treatment

Today I'm getting IPP contour care + decolletage treatment at Rubina.

I had a very detailed, thorough consultation with the skilled director, and true to her expertise in facial lymphatic massage, the moment she looked at my face she pinpointed exactly the issues I'd been worrying about and gave me an analysis.

Asymmetry between the two sides of my face ✔️ Especially my neck and shoulders being tightly knotted, which is causing facial puffiness and poor circulation. She said she'd loosen things up refreshingly with lymphatic massage first, then work on both sides of my face, and things would get a lot better.

The lighting isn't too bright — it's softly toned down, so during the decolletage or massage treatment it was so relaxing I almost dozed off. Perfect atmosphere for resting.

Between the beds, professional esthetics equipment used for skin elasticity, lifting, and contour care was neatly arranged.

After the consultation, we got right into the treatment.

The treatment step by step: neck and shoulder massage to facial contouring

BEFORE. Asymmetry on both sides and nasolabial-fold-like wrinkles from a sunken midface. Thankfully my jawline is still sharp, but my neck and shoulders had gotten completely stiff, making my neck look thicker and shorter over time 🥲🥲

First, she loosens up the neck and shoulders. Her hands are skilled and it felt so refreshing.

You could feel the care in her fingertips. After the cleansing, the real treatment began. The therapist's touch — delicate yet with real pressure — enveloped my whole face.

Especially when she gently worked loose the knotted muscles around my jawline and cheekbones, it felt like all that heavy fatigue was melting away. As the warmth from her fingertips spread gently, I could feel the circulation getting promoted deep beneath the skin, in real time.

Thanks to the lifting technique that firmly pulled my face line upward, the whole time I was lying on the bed my face felt like it was getting brighter and lighter.

Plaster mask and upper-arm slimming care at Rubina

I could feel the heat as the plaster mask pack set, and it cools down quickly, in about 3–4 minutes.

They even did upper-arm slimming care while the plaster was setting — I was touched that the treatment kept going even during that downtime.

What changed after one session at Rubina Skin & Body

When the treatment ended and I looked in the mirror, I could immediately see that my complexion had brightened and the facial puffiness had completely gone down, probably because the blocked blood flow had been cleared. My jawline, which had been uneven, felt lifted, firm, and defined.
