Why a delivery fajita led us to Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch

Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch is a Mexican restaurant on the 3rd floor near Exit 1 of HUFS Station, and this time I went to eat in-store with my mom. A while back I was just lounging around at home when a delivery arrived for me and mom to eat together >.< She's always telling me to diet, then keeps sending delivery food like this — well, thank you, I'll eat it haha. This time she sent fajitas! When you order delivery you tend to stick to what you usually eat, so it's nice that she knows what I like and sends different kinds of food ^^

My mom likes Mexican food quite a bit too, she's good with fajitas, tacos, that kind of thing~ We enjoyed it together, but it really is different from eating it in the restaurant. I was left with a bit of that lingering wish, and today when I was wondering what to eat, Mexican food suddenly came to mind again. So I went to a nearby HUFS-area favorite, Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch ^^

Where is Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch, and is there parking?

From the subway station, it's on the 3rd floor of the tall building visible next to the McDonald's building at Exit 1 of HUFS Station ^^ There's a parking tower inside the building, and you get 1 hour free parking if you're dining.

Inside Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch: seating and atmosphere

The interior of Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch has soft lighting as its highlight, and the greenery scattered throughout gives it a Mexican feel while staying clean and spacious enough for group gatherings too ~ Looking through the floor-to-ceiling windows you can see the rooftop outdoor terrace, and there are baby chairs available too.

Eaters Mexican is a Tex-Mex style Mexican restaurant, so it suits Korean tastes I'd say?! As it says on the banner outside, it's Mexican food the whole family can enjoy~ A place where even people trying Mexican food for the first time can enjoy it without worry.

Eaters Mexican menu: single dishes and combo sets

Since Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch is a Mexican restaurant, there's a wide variety like tacos, burritos, quesadillas and more. It's set up with everything from single-item menus to set menus, so when you're stuck deciding, picking a set like this is cheaper and also lets you enjoy just the best menu items ^^

Since it's near HUFS, there were students coming in for solo lunches too~ Even eating alone, there are plenty of single-item menus to enjoy a full meal, and the food comes out fast, so it seems like a time-saver too ^^

We didn't order the fajitas, but they do have a guide showing how to enjoy fajitas wrapped up your own way like this.

What's in the Combo Platter for 2, and how does it taste?

What we ordered was the Combo Platter (2 people) at Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch, which comes with chipotle cream pasta + chicken burrito, chicken taco, carnitas taco, buffalo wings, and nacho chips all together.

Plate with chipotle cream pasta and chicken burrito together

We ordered the Combo Platter so we could enjoy all the different items at once, and the burrito and pasta come plated together, loaded with sauce like this~~

When it's just two of you eating, it's hard to order a lot of different menu items because of the portions, but having the burrito and pasta together like this means you get to enjoy both ^^

Buffalo wings, nacho chips and fries on the platter

There are even fries hiding inside the buffalo wings and nachos ^^ Both taco types were packed with meat too~ so even eating just one felt filling.

Meat-packed chicken taco and carnitas taco

It feels light but is actually quite filling, so the single-item tacos seem like a good option too when you want a simple meal. Personally I loved the tangy sour cream sauce haha.

Is Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch good for a family meal?

I take my mom out for pizza and pasta a lot, but there's not much Mexican food nearby so we don't get to eat it often — during holidays like Chuseok, it's good as an exotic yet filling meal to share with family ^^
