Old-style pork cutlet and fish cake udon near Magok Station: Tteudon

There was a tangle fidget toy pop-up at the Lotte Mall near Gimpo Airport, so I went with my kid, and on the way back we stopped by Tteudon, a well-known pork cutlet spot near Magok Station. Pork cutlet is basically the #1 eating-out choice for elementary kids haha.

This Seoul Botanic Park favorite, Tteudon, has an amazingly generous self-bar setup beyond just the cutlets! Unlimited tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), morning bread, and soup, plus ice cream on top^^ Appetizer to dessert, all covered in one go!!

Everything was delicious — I really ate until I was stuffed, which hasn't happened in a while, at this Seoul Botanic Park favorite Tteudon!! If you're looking for somewhere to eat out with the kids, I highly recommend it!

What is Tteudon Magok Branch like inside, and is there a kids' room?

The inside is spacious with plenty of tables.

There's also a kids' room, so it's great for letting the kids play while you're there^^

This place gets a ton of delivery orders! They kept coming in nonstop. A pork cutlet for weekend lunch is just so satisfying and delicious.

What is on the self-bar at Tteudon Magok Branch: soup, morning bread and tteokbokki

The self-bar is so generous. Unlimited soup and morning bread!! Kimchi and pickled radish are also self-serve.

This thick, tasty cream soup — it tastes exactly like the old-school Western-style restaurants I went to as a kid! Not many places offer this unlimited, but the owner at Tteudon, this Magok Station pork cutlet favorite, is really generous. Sprinkling on black pepper is the standard move.

And on top of that, tteokbokki, which pairs so well with pork cutlet, is also unlimited!!! Chewy wheat rice cakes! Not something you order as a side — it's just unlimited^^ Help yourself to the broth too.

Before the pork cutlets arrived, I settled my stomach first with morning bread and soup.

I noticed the order pad had instructions for making Tteudon's own pork cutlet burger, so haha, I made one for myself haha.

Cheese pork cutlet, old-style pork cutlet, fish cake udon!! Such a hearty spread!! The pork cutlet portions were seriously huge.

That old-school Western-style sauce!!! Crispy cutlet, and vegetables too^^ And the fish cake udon was substantial too, really substantial.

The sauce is Tteudon's signature — this Magok Station pork cutlet favorite. Really delicious. The cutlet was crispy outside, moist inside, and had absolutely no gamey smell.

The cheese cutlet oozes cheese the moment you cut into it — so good! Pairing it with cabbage and corn salad is great too!! With plenty of sauce, dipping it and eating it moist like this is my personal favorite.

My kid loved how the cheese stretched out in long strings haha. That's the charm of cheese pork cutlet. The cheese cutlet at Tteudon, this Seoul Botanic Park favorite, has a generous amount of cheese, so my cheese-loving kid ate it up happily.

How to build a Tteudon burger with the free morning bread

And then, the Tteudon burger I saw on the order pad earlier. I put in pork cutlet, vegetables, and even pickles, then chowed down using the morning bread as a bun. Eating it with morning bread was really tasty. Highly recommend this combo!!! You have to try it^^

Unlimited ice cream in four flavors

And it doesn't stop there haha, unlimited ice cream too!! With a variety of flavors^^ Chocolate, yogurt, strawberry, and even green tea! Picking your own is half the fun.

The ice cream wasn't some cheap stuff either — it had rich flavor, more like gelato. I had chocolate and yogurt together!!!! I went for seconds... it was that good^^;;

Is Tteudon near Magok Station a good place to eat out with kids?

Tteudon, this Magok Station favorite, was a stop on the way back from Lotte Mall at Gimpo Airport with my kid! The pork cutlet was delicious, but the self-bar lineup — tteokbokki, morning bread, soup, and even ice cream — was really the standout. Of course, kids can't resist a pork cutlet and tteokbokki combo haha.

The cheese pork cutlet was packed with cheese, so my kid ate it happily, and I made sure to enjoy ice cream twice at the end 🤣 If you're looking for a place to eat out with kids, Tteudon near Magok Station is worth remembering as somewhere to eat hearty and have a good time♡
