Steak cream pasta and rosé beef risotto near Gireum Station: 37.5

Today I'm introducing a brunch spot in Seongbuk-gu, 37.5 Signature Mia Branch.

Where is 37.5 Signature Mia Branch near Gireum Station?

The restaurant sits near both Gireum Station and Miasageori Station! There's a Hyundai Department Store right next door, so it's easy to hop over for a meal after shopping there.

If you've been to a 37.5 Signature before, you'll know the vibe is really clean and the interior is impressive. I work near Myeongdong Station and have been to their branches with coworkers a few times — it's a great spot for a lunch get-together. Every visit has been satisfying, so I kept thinking I should bring my wife too, and today was finally the day.

The exterior alone looks so clean, right? Feels like the perfect date spot.

The inside is really clean too. The white-toned interior gives it a fresh, upscale feel.

Most of their branches seem to share a similar concept and tone. That makes it great for company gatherings or team dinners too.

You can tell a lot of care went into the tables and tableware. Cute and pretty, right?

By the way, the restaurant has plenty of baby high chairs, so it's really good to bring kids along too.

Menu and how to order

You order through the tablet set up at each table. Payment is after the meal.

The menu is really varied. As I recall, this place used to be known for its brunch menu. We didn't order it this time, but I remember the American-style brunch being hearty and delicious.

And of course, being a Western food restaurant, they have a wide range of pastas, risottos, steaks, and salads. My little Ddungjjaegi, who leans toward no-salt food, made picking a bit tricky, but we managed to choose carefully.

Oh, and as you can see on the map, the area has both a residential neighborhood and a department store nearby. So it's great for walking around with a kid.

I spent time with Ddungjjaegi like this out front of the department store while we ordered and waited.

The neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful that it was nice to just pass the time there. Not just for people bringing kids like me — it seems great for dates and family gatherings too.

Mushroom cream soup

The mushroom cream soup that came out first was incredibly tasty. The flavor of the mushrooms and cream together was so good. I actually tried to share it with Ddungjjaegi, but it was seasoned for adults, so she couldn't have it — which turned out to be a good thing, since I got to enjoy it all myself.

Bread basket

The bread basket that came alongside was also really good. The breads were all soft with a lovely nutty aroma.

The crispy toasted white bread in particular was something Ddungjjaegi could eat too. And that waffle wasn't overly sweet, which made it especially good.

It went really well with the soup too.

And the real highlight was the jam and butter. The butter was wonderfully rich and smooth, and the tangy-sweet jam added just the right sweetness to the bread. I usually don't like eating sweet things during a meal, but I still kept reaching for more bread after eating.

Steak cream pasta

And one of today's mains — steak cream pasta! This sauce is seriously delicious. The thick, rich sauce coats the noodles completely.

Dipping the steak into it is amazing. Even as a topping, each piece of steak was grilled just right. Topping steaks like this are usually well-done and dry, but here at 37.5 it came out with a pink hue, grilled somewhere between medium-rare and medium.

Doesn't it look great? Beyond the taste, the clean and pleasant atmosphere made it fun to look at too.

Rosé beef risotto

Personally, the dish I kept going back to with my spoon was the rosé beef risotto! As you can tell just from the photo, the sauce is quite thick — leaning more toward a rich rosé sauce with the soft, nutty flavor of cream rather than the tang of tomato.

The sauce soaks all the way through between the grains of rice, so every spoonful is packed with rosé sauce flavor.

The bits of beef you bite into now and then kept the texture interesting, and while the cream pasta leans fully toward rich and nutty, the risotto gets a bit of support from the tomato's acidity, making it feel less heavy in comparison. Ordering both together is actually pretty great!

A date and family gathering spot in Seongbuk?

It was a really satisfying, hearty meal. I've personally visited 37.5 many times before!

Beyond being great near office areas, enjoying it comfortably near a residential complex like this has its own charm. Actually, maybe this quieter setting feels even better...
