While looking for good places to eat in Eojin-dong, Sejong, I finally made it back to Le Garden Bleu after a while. Honestly, this wasn't my first visit — it's already my third. Every time I go, both the food and the atmosphere satisfy me, so it's the place that comes to mind whenever I want pasta or Western food in Sejong.

Parking and baby chairs at Le Garden Bleu
Le Garden Bleu sits on the first floor of KT&G Sejong Tower A in Eojin-dong, Sejong, inside a shopping mall, so parking is fairly convenient. That matters more than you'd think when hunting for a place to eat in Eojin-dong. This time I visited with my baby, and they had a baby chair ready, which made the meal easy — a good spot for a Sejong family outing too.

Le Garden Bleu menu and why lunch needs a reservation
Le Garden Bleu tends to get pretty busy at lunchtime, so I'd recommend booking ahead. The menu is quite varied, with sets, salads, appetizers, pizza, risotto, pasta, and drinks. And there are quite a few pasta dishes here that stand apart from anything I've had elsewhere, so if you're after distinctive pasta, I'd recommend Le Garden Bleu.

The interior is quite clean and tidy, making it good for family meals, and also a fine option for anyone looking for an atmospheric Sejong date spot.

What the pasta texture at Le Garden Bleu is like
On my third visit to Le Garden Bleu, the dish I was most satisfied with was, again, the pasta. This place's noodle texture is really something. They say they use top-grade Italian noodles, and eating it you can tell — the noodles don't go mushy, they keep just the right chewiness and bite, which made every bite fun.

White ragu truffle pasta
The white ragu truffle pasta is a cream-pasta style dish made with fresh cream, but here the truffle aroma gives it a different appeal from your usual cream pasta. The truffle scent comes through quite strongly, so if you're a truffle lover, this one will suit your taste.

Classic vongole pasta
The classic vongole pasta was genuinely delicious! You'd usually think of vongole as light and clean-tasting, but Le Garden Bleu's version is seasoned fairly boldly, with the clam flavor coming through strongly. If you want a deep, rich clam taste, go classic!

Above all, the noodles themselves have great texture, so eating them with the sauce was pure satisfaction. Personally, both my companion and I found this the most memorable dish of the visit. If you're hunting for pasta in Eojin-dong, Sejong, definitely order the vongole.

Pastry-crust pizza, ordered for the first time
This time I also ordered pizza for the first time. Honestly, I'd always gone to Le Garden Bleu for the pasta, so I hadn't given the pizza much thought — but ordering it this time, I was surprised at how good it was. Because it uses a pastry dough, the texture is different from your typical pizza crust. The outside is crisp while the dough has a layered feel, which made it fun to eat. If you like a crunchy bite, order the pizza too.
Is Le Garden Bleu worth a third visit?
Le Garden Bleu is located inside a shopping mall, so parking is easy and you can go shopping right after your meal, which makes it good to visit with kids. So beyond being a Sejong date spot for couples, I think it also works well as a family dining destination.
If you're craving pasta in Eojin-dong, Sejong, want a clean Western-style meal, or are looking for an atmospheric date spot in Sejong, this is worth a stop. It's not a one-and-done place for me — I've already been three times, and this Eojin-dong, Sejong favorite, Le Garden Bleu, is somewhere I'll likely return to the next time I crave pasta in Sejong.
