This is Baeksanu Sutbul, a famous pork galbi spot in Sinwolseong — we went for weekend lunch with my husband and our toddler.

There's a big playroom too, so our 30-month-old had a blast playing. The 1kg pork galbi was such good value and so delicious, we got a proper energy boost from weekend lunch 👍🏻👍🏻 The unlimited wrap vegetables were fresh and even included kale, so I happily wrapped and ate away!! And the pork skin is unlimited too 👀 Such a great-value restaurant!

Parking, the playroom and the self-serve bar at Baeksanu Sutbul

There's a big playroom here too, so a lot of families from Wolseong-dong come with their kids! If you have a child, a playroom is a must. Our little one had so much fun.

The interior was really spacious. Plenty of room for group gatherings too.

This is the self-serve bar, which even has pork skin. Fresh wrap vegetables and pork skin are both there for unlimited refills. There's even kale, and it was super fresh.

Pre-grilled pork galbi made lunch easy with a toddler

We ordered the meat pre-grilled, so it's cooked right in front of you first, which makes eating so much easier. Grilling meat with a baby around is tough, so having it come pre-grilled was really convenient.

They cut it into easy bite-sized pieces to finish — even more convenient for grilling and eating comfortably. I heard they distribute and prep the meat themselves, which probably explains why the quality was so good.

How the pork galbi tasted, and what the 30-month-old thought

The meat was delicious even plain — clean-tasting, savory, and sweet.

Our baby never eats store-bought pork galbi at home, but she ate this one really well. Guess she already loves eating out haha.

Dipped in the sweet onion sauce, it's even better.

Kale and wrap vegetables at the self-serve bar

Wrapped in kale, it's even more delicious. I love kale wraps, so having kale on hand meant I devoured it. Eating fresh kale even put me in a good mood.

We ordered the doenjang stew (soybean paste stew) early so we could eat it with the rice and meat together. Pork galbi really is best with rice.

Finishing the meal with unlimited pork skin

Last we grilled up some pork skin. Chewy pork skin dipped in the sweet-spicy sauce was a real treat — perfect with soju. Getting unlimited pork skin at this price too is an amazing deal.
