Suwon pizza restaurant, salad pasta after a dinner sellout: Low Five
In short
Low Five is a pizza and Western-style restaurant in Haenggung-dong, Suwon, set in a converted house and run as the brand's flagship location. Arriving at dinner left only two pizzas available, so the table ordered a corn-and-pepperoni half-and-half pizza along with salad pasta and avocado kimchi fried rice. Low Five proved that the non-pizza dishes hold their own too, on both taste and atmosphere.

Such nice weather and temperature for a little outing~~~ On a day like this I headed to Haenggung-dong, which is close by but still feels like a proper trip out~~ There are so many good restaurants in Haenggung-dong, but whenever I want pizza or Western food I always end up at the Low Five flagship.
The place has that distinctive Haenggung-dong old-house atmosphere, and it's full of creative dishes that nail both looks and taste — it always leaves me satisfied and happy no matter when I go. Let me introduce my all-time favorite, Low Five~
Low Five flagship hours and closing days in Suwon
Mon–Sun 11:20–21:00 / Break time 15:00–16:50 / Last order 19:30 / Closed Tuesdays *closes early when ingredients run out*

Tucked right into the greenery hahaha, this is the Low Five flagship. It has that renovated-house vibe plus a lush, green feel to it.

Climb the short stone steps and you'll find the entrance~

How long is the wait at Low Five? CatchTable makes it easy
Low Five gets busy so there's often a wait!! You can put your name on CatchTable and wait. Or apparently there's also a service where you can book a line-reservation slot for whatever time you want??? If you already have a visit planned, using that means you might be able to walk right in without waiting at all!!!

Terrace seats and the self-serve bar at Low Five
The terrace, all overgrown with greenery, looks so fresh — perfect for sitting outside in weather like this!! It was already fully booked, though haha. Still, the other seats are just as atmospheric and lovely!

In the middle of the restaurant there's a self-serve bar like this, so grab wet wipes, tissues, or small plates if you need them! There's also hot sauce and cheese powder there haha.

Only two pizzas left at dinner, so we went half-and-half
The menu looks like this~ Normally there's a much wider range of pizzas, but since I went in the evening a bunch were sold out, and only two were left?? T_T So I ordered both as one half-and-half pizza!! If you go, definitely order half-and-half so you can enjoy two flavors at once haha.
I was also curious about the salad pasta, so I ordered that too~ (It sold out right after I ordered it haha, lucky me~~) And Low Five's kimchi fried rice is just as famous as its pizza — the avocado version looked so good I got that as well!! On top of that there's a good range of wine, beer, and other drinks, so you can pick according to your taste to go with the food~~

Everything I ordered arrived~ Food that looks delicious just by looking at it, ugh.

Corn and pepperoni half-and-half pizza
This is the corn and pepperoni half-and-half pizza. Low Five's signature is this corn pizza with whole kernels on top. The pop of the corn kernels against the sweet, savory sauce is such a great combo — really delicious.
And pepperoni pizza never disappoints, right?? Loaded with salty, crisply cooked pepperoni, it had that classic, spicy-salty flavor that was just so good.

Salad pasta, my friend's top pick at Low Five
And surprisingly, the salad pasta was so good!! Eating only pizza can get heavy after a while, but this pasta is packed with salad, and the fresh, savory oil dressing soaks nicely into the noodles and vegetables, so it resets your palate whenever the pizza feels rich or you're getting full. Totally recommend it if you want something fresh and light!! haha. This was also my friend's number-one pick.

Avocado kimchi fried rice at Low Five
And then, absolutely amazing haha, the avocado kimchi fried rice!! Last time I visited Low Five I just had the plain kimchi fried rice, which was already so good, but this time I tried the version with avocado added!!
But honestly, unless you really dislike avocado, you have to add it... The soft egg and avocado gently wrap around the kimchi fried rice's flavor, which can otherwise be spicy and intense. Avocado's creamy, nutty richness paired so well with the spicy kimchi!!
Is Low Five worth a dinner visit in Haenggung-dong?
Low Five truly lives up to being a top Western-food restaurant in Haenggung-dong!! The pizza is famous for good reason, but everything else was just as delicious, no weak links at all... If you're out in Haenggung-dong looking for a great pizza place or Western restaurant, spend some good time at Low Five, where the taste and the atmosphere both deliver~~
