Haenggung-dong pasta restaurant in Suwon: Alfredo cream, Low Five

In short

Low Five is a casual Western restaurant in the Haenggung-dong area of Suwon, Gyeonggi, where pizza, pasta and kimchi fried rice all share one menu. Arriving at 5pm, just as Low Five's break time ended, the writer ordered Alfredo cream pasta (18,000 won), a half-and-half pizza (26,000 won), avocado kimchi fried rice (14,000 won) and grapefruit ade (6,000 won). The cream sauce and the bite of the noodles made the Alfredo cream pasta a new favourite, and Low Five works just as easily for a meal with a friend as for a date.

I was looking for a good-vibe Western restaurant in Haenggung-dong, Suwon, and ended up at Low Five! With pizza, pasta, and fried rice all under one roof, it's great for a meal with friends and works just as well for a date. Let me introduce Low Five!

What Low Five in Haenggung-dong looks like inside and out

Apparently Low Five started out as a small brunch spot, serving carefully made sandwiches and pasta dishes one by one. As they kept adding dishes they liked, it grew into the casual restaurant with a varied menu that it is today.

I visited at 5pm, right after break time ended! Since the place accepts Catch Table reservations, it was easy to book ahead before going. They even had chairs outside for waiting, haha.

Walking in, the warm lighting and interior made me feel like I'd stepped into a European restaurant!

The place is fairly spacious, so it's comfortable for catching up with friends and easygoing enough for a family meal too, haha.

Napkins, sauces, plates, paper cups, and cutlery you might need during the meal were all easily available at the self-serve bar.

Low Five's signature dishes are pasta and pizza, with kimchi fried rice, salad, and baguette for dipping into pasta sauce as side dishes. You order via the kiosk placed at each table, and payment happens after the meal ☺️

I ordered a variety of dishes — the half-and-half pizza, Alfredo cream pasta, and avocado kimchi fried rice.

The Alfredo cream pasta is a spicy cream-based pasta topped with grilled bacon!

Close-up of pasta noodles coated in cream sauce

Every time I've had pasta out, I've been a little disappointed by the cream sauce or how the noodles were cooked, but one bite of Low Five's pasta genuinely surprised me. It's officially my favorite pasta now, T_T

Avocado kimchi fried rice, 14,000 won

I also tried the avocado kimchi fried rice (seaweed-free, kimchi-based fried rice) — kimchi fried rice topped with soft scrambled egg and avocado.

A scooped spoonful of avocado kimchi fried rice

Having kimchi fried rice alongside Western dishes was nice since it widened the menu options. And for those who don't eat avocado, they also sell the kimchi fried rice without it (-₩1,000).

Half-and-half pizza, 26,000 won

Half-and-half pizza with two flavors

Low Five's signature pizza comes in two flavors! I wanted to try both, and luckily they sell a half-and-half option, so I got to try each one ><

Being able to enjoy two flavors at once is great if you and a friend or partner want different things — no need to pick just one.

Pizza served alongside other dishes on the table

If you're looking for a Western restaurant in Haenggung-dong with great pizza, this is a good pick as a Haenggung-dong pizza spot, haha!

Grapefruit ade, 6,000 won

I also ordered a grapefruit ade to drink alongside — paired with the food, it felt refreshingly cleansing, and I kept reaching for it.

If you want to spend a relaxed time with good food and a comfortable atmosphere, definitely check out Low Five~!
