One of the places I'd wanted to visit for ages! I finally made it to Pink Wall Cafe, a bakery café on Yeongjong Island in Incheon!
Pink Wall Cafe is a new spot on Yeongjong that kept showing up on my algorithm — makes sense, since I'm a total pink addict.
Where is Pink Wall Cafe, and is there parking?
Pink Wall Cafe is located by Maisan Beach, and it's a bakery café that sells bread too.
It's not too far from Incheon Airport or Inspire Resort, so it's easy to pair with a Yeongjong Island travel route.
First off, the thing I liked most was that there's parking space both in front and behind the café.
Right in front there's also a restaurant running, selling dulle guksu (noodle soup) and ttukbaegi mandu-guk (dumpling soup in a stone pot). That place was also full of pink, which was so surprising. It felt like walking into a pink world.
What drew me here was, of course, the fact that it's all pink. Apparently the café was made with the idea of creating a space that adds a bit of pink vitality to our lives.
What are the indoor and terrace seats like at Pink Wall Cafe?
Once inside, it turned out to be a pretty big café with both indoor and outdoor sections, and the terrace was half-indoor half-outdoor, so it seemed usable even in summer or winter.
It's a great space for photos, but also comfortable for just sitting and chatting for a while.
Drink and bakery prices at Pink Wall Cafe — and an honest taste test
Drinks basically run ₩7,000–9,000, so it's a bit on the pricier side, which is a downside... but it still seemed like a decent spot to visit once, take some pink-on-pink photos, and just spend some time.
Since it's a bakery café, they have house-made bagels and bread too. They also have cake, so it's good for dessert.
If you write a Naver receipt review or post on SNS, they give you chestnut cookies.
Overall, the taste was just so-so.
Honestly, it's not a café you go to for the food.
The pink chandelier and pink cat doll photo zone
The first thing that caught my eye walking inside was the pink chandelier. If my own place were bigger with higher ceilings, that's exactly what I'd want to install.
Every corner, every nook was pink, which was so wild to see. You could tell they'd fussed over every little prop to keep everything pink.
There was this super cute cat doll — and my nickname is actually Pinkcat, so a pink cat doll that matched my nickname perfectly totally made me want it.
Apparently they sell it on Coupang, so I've got to buy one later!!
Besides the cat doll, there was also a Bellygom doll. We took photos with the pink cat doll, and its eyes looked so funny that we started making up a whole story and cracking up.
Even the tissues here are pink.
Honestly, everything is such a pink world that as a pink addict, I didn't want to leave.
The sister I went with is a purple addict, so she said someone should open a purple café — haha, when's that opening?!
Color makes the space, the space makes the time, and that time becomes a memory
If you're looking for somewhere to visit in Eulwangri, Yeongjong, I'd recommend this place.
The restrooms are separated by gender and kept nice and clean.
Can you bring a dog, and why you need mosquito repellent
Pink Wall Cafe is dog-friendly. When we visited, there were quite a few people who'd brought their dogs along. If you're traveling Yeongjong Island with your dog, it seems like a great spot to get some pretty pink photos of them too.
But right now there are killer mosquitoes out there. We came home covered in bites, so I strongly recommend bringing mosquito repellent.
Most of the people there seemed to be couples on a date or people touring Yeongjong Island with their parents. I went with some fun, lovely friends and had a great time too.
If you love pink, this place is worth visiting — save it and go check it out.
