Hannam food court burger restaurant: pastrami set at Daily Fix Hannam

In short

Daily Fix Hannam is a burger restaurant that recently opened in the basement 2 food court of Nine One Hannam, by Hangangjin Station in Yongsan, Seoul. The chicken burger set (chicken burger, thick-cut fries and a soda) and the signature pastrami burger came with smoky flavor, a patty with real texture, and fluffy thick fries. The food court setting makes solo dining easy, and Daily Fix Hannam is worth a return trip to Hannam-dong just for the burgers.

Arriving at Daily Fix Hannam near Hangangjin Station

Hi, this is Yeonhui : ) Today I'm writing up a burger place that's not a franchise, for once. I'd been wanting to try this particular burger spot for ages, and since I happened to be running errands nearby, I dropped by the Hannam branch of Daily Fix.

Entrance to the Nine One Hannam food court

It's located in the basement 2 level of Nine One Hannam, near Hangangjin Station. I worried a bit about getting lost since it was my first time and the building is a commercial complex, but once I walked through the door shown above, I spotted it right away.

I'd been a little skeptical hearing it was inside the Nine One Hannam food court, but the space turned out to be more stylish and clean than expected, open and airy, and comfortable to eat in.

On top of that, Daily Fix Hannam just opened, so it's a fresh new spot near Hangangjin Station. Finally getting to try the burger place I'd been wanting to visit for so long — total lucky find!

Is Daily Fix Hannam good for solo dining, and what are the seats like?

Since Daily Fix Hannam is inside a food court rather than a standalone restaurant, it felt like a comfortable place to eat solo without any awkwardness. There's a good range of seating options too, so you can sit wherever suits you.

Rather than a cramped interior, it's a lively yet clean space — the exact opposite of what I imagined a food court would be like. I got the impression that not just Daily Fix Hannam but every stall here is kept hygienic and well managed.

What we ordered at Daily Fix Hannam

At Daily Fix Hannam we ordered two things: the chicken burger set (chicken burger + thick fries + soda) and the pastrami burger. The set comes with three parts — burger, fries, and drink — and the fries or drink can be swapped for an extra charge.

Here's the menu at this Hangangjin Station favorite. We ordered 💜the chicken burger set (chicken burger + thick fries + soda) 💜the pastrami burger.

For reference, the set menu here comes with a main burger, fries, and a drink. Fries or drinks can be swapped for an extra charge!

How was the chicken burger set?

The chicken burger at Daily Fix Hannam had a huge patty that grabbed your appetite just by looking at it — crispy outside, juicy inside. The breading wasn't too thick, so it stayed light all the way through without feeling heavy.

When our order finally arrived, the look of it alone was no joke. The chicken patty was so huge it stirred up my appetite just from sight.

Crispy outside, juicy inside — I was surprised from the first bite. Living up to its reputation as a favorite near Hangangjin Station, you could tell the chicken itself was quality, not just the coating.

Inside the chicken burger with sauce and vegetables

It wasn't greasy — instead it was clean-tasting with plenty of the chicken's natural savory flavor, which made every bite enjoyable. The sauce and vegetables inside worked really well together too.

Since the breading wasn't too thick, it never felt heavy and stayed clean-tasting to the last bite. Burgers often get greasy and tiring to finish, but this chicken burger stayed enjoyable all the way through.

What does the signature pastrami burger taste like?

Daily Fix Hannam's signature pastrami burger uses meat smoked slowly and carefully over a long time, they say. The grain of the meat was clearly intact, giving it a distinctive chew, and the smoky flavor was well balanced — the kind of taste anyone could love.

Next we tried the pastrami burger, arguably the signature item among recommended handmade burgers. Since the meat is smoked slowly and carefully, the flavor was noticeably different.

The grain of the meat felt distinctly intact piece by piece, giving the chew a unique texture, and the deep meaty aroma filled my mouth — it felt less like a burger and more like eating something upscale.

The huge amount of meat was never dry or salty — if anything, a nutty richness came through with every chew. If the smoky flavor were any stronger it might turn some people off, but here it was just right, the kind of taste that's hard to dislike.

The thick-cut fries at Daily Fix Hannam

For the set's side, I chose the thick-cut style fries. Crispy outside and soft like a steamed potato inside, they kept that fluffy, potato-forward taste all the way through.

It felt like a waste to eat just the burger, so we also ordered the side fries — we went with the thick-cut style, and being nice and thick really let the natural fluffy potato flavor come through.

Crispy fried outside and soft like a steamed potato inside — eating them hot, fresh out of the fryer, was pure happiness. Overall, this is a place near Hangangjin Station that clearly doesn't skimp on ingredients and cooks with care.

Is Daily Fix Hannam worth a trip to Hannam-dong?

Daily Fix Hannam made it clear why this name always comes up whenever people talk about great burgers near Hangangjin Station. It was satisfying enough that I'd come back to Hannam-dong just for this burger alone.

After this visit to Daily Fix Hannam, a recommended burger spot near Hangangjin Station, I understood exactly why people never leave it off the list when talking about great handmade burgers. It was satisfying enough that I'd come back to Hannam-dong just for this. I'll be back soon to work through the rest of the menu 🤍
