As the end of the year approaches, I always find myself looking for a café with proper Christmas vibes 🎄 Today I want to introduce a large-tree café in Daejeon that's perfect for taking photos with a big tree and spending some relaxed time. What kind of café is Luonto Sutonggol Branch?

Luonto Sutonggol Branch, a large-tree café in Daejeon, felt sizable from the outside alone. The front of the building is a wide expanse of glass, so you can see the open interior at a glance even from outside. The overall vibe is modern and clean, making it a nice stop after a walk around Sutonggol. Since the café is on the larger side, I was already looking forward to seeing how the interior was decorated on my first visit.

Indoor seating and the Christmas tree atmosphere

Once inside, the wide space had a variety of table and seat styles, so it was easy to pick whatever spot you wanted. Wood-tone furniture, warm lighting, and plants scattered throughout came together to make the place feel surprisingly cozy despite its large size.

The huge windows let in plenty of natural light and gave the whole place a strong sense of openness. There were tables big enough for groups as well as more relaxed individual seats, all in a good variety.

The outdoor tent terrace at Luonto

Step outside and there's a separate, spacious outdoor area with tables and chairs. Seats are set up under a white tent, so on nice-weather days it looked like a great spot to sip coffee outdoors. The open surrounding scenery gave off a relaxed vibe quite different from indoors. If outdoor space matters to you when looking for a large-tree café in Daejeon, this one should be satisfying.

The small wedding and event hall

What especially stood out was that there's a separate small wedding space on one side of the café. With high ceilings full of warm lighting and a spacious hall with tables, the overall atmosphere was bright and cheerful. There was even an area decorated with white flowers and fabric that looked great for an actual small wedding or special event! Having a dedicated event space like this, unlike a typical café, felt like something unique to Luonto Sutonggol Branch. 🥰

Drinks and desserts we ordered at Luonto

I visited with a friend and we ordered a variety of things — drinks, soft-serve ice cream, and dessert. The portions looked quite generous from the visuals alone, and dessert lovers would definitely be satisfied. The soft-serve ice cream and bread dessert in particular were noticeably large, which made them great for photos too. These are good menu picks if you want to enjoy sweet desserts alongside coffee at a large-tree café in Daejeon.

Einspänner

The einspänner had soft cream piled generously on top of the strong coffee, looking sweet right from the visual. The first taste brings the soft, sweet cream, followed by the coffee's bitter depth — a nice combination. The cream was generous enough that mixing it in bit by bit made the coffee taste even smoother. If you like sweet coffee menus, this is a good one to order at a large-tree café in Daejeon.

Soft-serve ice cream and chimney bread

The soft-serve ice cream caught the eye with its tall, piled-high visual, and one bite in, the soft, creamy texture was great.

The chimney bread was even better with plenty of ice cream piled on top. True to a large-tree café in Daejeon, it wasn't just about the space — ordering several desserts and sharing them with a friend was fun too~!
