Since I was in Gangnam this weekend, I went looking for a pretty café and ended up at Bakerist Brown 👍🏻 I got pulled in like a spell by the brick vibe, and it turned out to be a genuinely high-quality bakery café! From baked goods to cakes to sandwiches, the dessert lineup was insane. It's right between Sinnonhyeon Station and Gangnam Station, super convenient to get to, so I was very satisfied 🩷 Let me give you the honest review now~~~

The moment I stepped into Bakerist Brown, the bread on display already had me drooling 🤤 It was packed with madeleines, which I love, so it honestly felt like heaven! Among the countless Gangnam Station cafés, this one stood out for its bakery-shop-level quality ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Maybe that's why most customers were piling their plates full of bread 😉 One perk of being an adult = you can buy as much delicious bread as you want! Hahaha, I scanned the bread with excitement too 📸

You can switch to decaf, so it seemed like a good spot to visit in the evening too. Plus there's a good variety of drinks beyond coffee, nice! I'm normally a hardcore iced-Americano person, but today I decided to try something new 🐶 I ordered the black sesame latte since the nutty flavor sounded delicious~~~

Tucked inside this atmospheric space is a hidden photo spot 😆 It's near a window where warm sunlight pours in, so selfies come out amazing here! I quickly grabbed a window seat, and by the time I finished looking around, my drink was ready 🔥

How the black sesame latte, Gangnam Sand and matcha madeleine tasted

Let me start with the black sesame latte! A generous layer of smooth black sesame cream sits on top, pairing perfectly with the coffee-🫶🏻 The cream was thicker than I expected, which made it easy to drink, and the nutty flavor was rich and delicious. If you love that distinctive black sesame nuttiness, I highly recommend this one 😉

I was curious what the Gangnam Sand would be like, so I ordered it ➡️ This is genuinely the best for gifting! Every flavor is different so it never gets boring, and they look so pretty too 👍🏻 It was hard to pick just one, so I ordered one of each flavor — look how pretty the colors are 🥹ㅠㅠ

Lastly, the matcha madeleine has a really moist inside with a thick layer of matcha chocolate piled on top! The matcha flavor was more intense than I expected, so matcha lovers need to run here immediately 😆 The madeleine was so good I wanted to buy up every single one left~~~

The goods corner, and would I go back to Bakerist Brown?

After spending some relaxed time there, I checked out the goods before leaving! T-shirts, stickers, mugs and more — Bakerist Brown had plenty of goods full of its own charm ✨️ The T-shirts had a surprisingly nice design, perfect for matching couple outfits on a trip.

This was my review of Bakerist Brown, a place I'd love to revisit with my boyfriend next time 🐶🦭 The vibe is great and both the bread and coffee are delicious, so I'd recommend it to anyone coming for a blind date too! Plus (important) the restroom is clean too 👍🏻 ➡️ Would I return: 200%
