It was a weekend in September 2026, and my husband and I were craving something a bit different, so we picked up takeout from Macho Nacho, a Mangwon Hangang restaurant. You know that moment after a walk through Mangwon Hangang Park or browsing Mangwon Market when you want something easy to eat at home? Macho Nacho hours and what a weekend afternoon looks like

Macho Nacho is open 17:00–01:00 on weekdays and 13:00–01:00 on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with last order at 00:30. It's closed on Tuesdays. We visited around 2pm on a weekend.

Maybe because it was such a nice weekend, quite a few customers were picking up takeout after their own Mangwon Hangang outings.

Inside, Macho Nacho actually has a pretty nice space where you can sit and eat for a bit. This time we wanted to eat comfortably at home so we went with takeout, but next time I'd love to sit down and enjoy it there too.

From the moment we picked up our takeout on the way home, the savory, spicy smell was almost impossible to resist haha.

Did the 13,900 won Signature Nachos stay crispy after takeout?

Even with some travel time getting home, the ₩13,900 Signature Nachos weren't soggy at all — still nice and crispy. The nachos were generously loaded with toppings and sauce, so every bite delivered both crunch and rich flavor.

I expected a light snack, but the amount of toppings was more generous than I thought, plenty for the two of us to share. Paired with beer or soda while watching a movie, this would make a great weekend evening home party menu :)

Is the 8,900 won Macho Nacho good value?

I was surprised at how generous the portion was for Macho Nacho — hard to believe it was only ₩8,900. Even ordering just this one menu felt more than satisfying as a snack, and with both menus together, my husband and I ended up eating it like an actual full meal.

The owner mentioned that two menus might be too much for two people, and after eating, I totally understood why haha.
