No-sting keratin lash perm in Dongtan, Hwaseong: Onyu Lash
In short
Onyu Lash is a lash perm studio run as a shop-in-shop inside Green Nail in Bansong-dong, Dongtan, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi. The writer asked for a keratin lash perm that lifted short, sparse lashes strand by strand but kept a soft natural curl rather than a sharp L-shape, and felt no stinging or burning at all — she fell asleep on the leg pillow and woke up with the treatment finished. Onyu Lash is worth booking if you want a lash perm that stays comfortable on the eyes the whole time.

Even with a heavy press of the eyelash curler, my lashes droop fast the moment it's humid or a little time passes, so I get lash perms regularly! I also don't wear heavy makeup normally, so a lash perm genuinely helps. This time I visited Onyu Lash, a place that's word-of-mouth famous as a great lash perm studio in Hwaseong.

Inside Green Nail in Bansong-dong: where to park
Onyu Lash runs as a shop-in-shop inside Green Nail in Bansong-dong, Hwaseong! Searching 'Green Nail' or '12 Dongtanbansong-gil' in navigation apps takes you straight there, so it was easy to find. Since I drove, parking is always my first concern — when the spots behind the shop are full, you can use the Bansong-dong public street parking lot instead, so I didn't have to worry about it at all.

The owner of Onyu Lash has a long beauty career going back to high school — starting with hair, then scalp care, nails, and now lash perms — which was reassuring. Her cosmetologist license, business registration, and business report certificate are all visible on the wall at a glance. With so many lash perm shops popping up these days, I've started paying close attention to detail and skill.

Natural curl, not an L-shape: the pre-treatment consultation
Before starting, Onyu Lash consulted with me about the style I wanted and my usual makeup style, matched to my eye shape! My lashes are short and thin, so I prefer a strong lift, but rather than going all the way to a dramatic L-shape, I asked for something closer to a soft, natural feel. Lashes curled so tightly into an L that they touch the eyelid skin is honestly the least flattering look...

Can a lash perm really be done without stinging eyes?
During the keratin perm at Onyu Lash, I had zero stinging and zero watering, none at all. Maybe it's because my skin is on the sensitive side, but no matter how tired I've been, I've almost never fallen into a deep, long sleep during a lash perm — yet this time at Onyu Lash I swear I was practically snoring, out cold. I felt so drowsy and comfortable that sleep just came so, so easily. The owner is genuinely meticulous.

That leg pillow especially was SO comfortable! I honestly wanted to buy one for home... The moment the treatment started I closed my eyes, and when I opened them the whole thing was done;; haha (a little embarrassed).

Before and after: how the curl turned out
The result at Onyu Lash was a curl that lifted strand-by-strand while staying natural. Left is before, right is after — you can clearly see it looks tidier, and I'm satisfied〰️. Since I get lash perms monthly, I like to book right when the curl is about to sag a bit, before it looks messy, which is why there's still a slight curl left in the 'before' photo. She matched everything I'd asked for in the consultation. My eyes look much more defined and I'm happy with it!

Lash perm aftercare and the return-visit coupon
After the treatment she handed me a card with aftercare instructions and a return-visit discount coupon! She also gave me a trendy kitty brush, haha. Since I get lash perms so regularly, there's inevitably some damage, so the owner carefully went through the aftercare steps I need to follow. She said to think of a lash perm just like a hair perm — wash your face and apply lash serum diligently, the same way you'd wash your hair and apply essence. Taking care of maintenance really does help how long it lasts. It's a bit disappointing that this happens even though I apply serum every day...
Who Onyu Lash suits best
I'd definitely recommend this lash perm to anyone worried about lashes breaking from misused curlers, or whose lashes droop easily. If you're looking for a great lash perm spot in Hwaseong, I strongly recommend Onyu Lash. I love the curl — natural but still nicely lifted — and above all, my eyes felt comfortable the whole time during the treatment. Totally satisfied!
