Jeonpo pizza restaurant with draft beer and cheese crust: Pickles

Whenever I want pizza in Jeonpo, I always end up torn over where to go. Do I pick somewhere the pizza itself is great, or somewhere the vibe is nice too? After going back and forth, the place I landed on was Pickles.

Pickles sits near the Jeonpo café street, so it's an easy stop on a date, and with a wide range of pizzas and pastas on the menu, it's a spot a lot of people seek out as a Jeonpo restaurant.

We didn't order a ton this time — just one half-and-half pizza and two beers for a simple pizza-and-beer session!

It's also close to Jeonpo Station, so it was easy to reach without a car, and the location made it simple to head over to the Jeonpo café street afterward for more.

What is the atmosphere like inside Pickles?

The inside of Pickles was decorated so nicely it almost felt like being in America.

I felt like the space would work fine whether you're a group of two or many more.

What is on the menu at Pickles?

Looking at the menu at Pickles, there's jambon-beurre pizza, taco pizza, beef cheeseburger pizza, potato pizza, bacon cheddar pizza, and more.

Beyond pizza, there's also puttanesca pasta, bacon cream pasta, lasagna, romaine salad, and more, so if you're visiting with a group, there's plenty to mix and match. Pizza, pasta, and even salads — all in one place!

Pickles has gathered together nothing but the good stuff 💕 So beyond Jeonpo pizza, it's a menu lineup that would also draw people looking for Jeonpo pasta or a Western-food restaurant in Busan.

Half-and-half pizza: jambon-beurre and beef cheeseburger

Looking through the pizza menu, it's hard to pick just one, haha.

So instead of settling on one, we ordered the half-and-half pizza.

Jambon-beurre & beef cheeseburger. Oh!! You have to add the cheese crust 👍 Getting two flavors on one pie meant a lot more variety for the two of us with just one order, and there was fun in switching between the two flavors as we went.

Especially with pizza, if you eat one whole flavor by yourself, you can get a bit tired of it by the end — but ordering half-and-half really cut down on that. If you're visiting for a Jeonpo date as a couple, I personally think going half-and-half is just right, rather than ordering multiple whole pizzas.

There's also a pizza-and-pasta set menu, which seems like a good option too, haha.

Draft beer with pizza at Pickles

We didn't just eat pizza and leave that day, haha.

Once the pizza came out, we couldn't not order beer, so we got two! A bite of warm pizza followed by a sip of cold beer — the classic pizza-and-beer combo really is a good one.

Rather than a big elaborate meal, this is a place with a mood that's good for setting down a tasty pizza and chatting over beer, which made it well suited to a Seomyeon date or a dinner spot with friends.

It seems good for lunch with pizza or pasta, and in the evening, adding beer like we did makes it feel a bit more relaxed — so it looked like a fine choice from a Seomyeon lunch through to an evening date.

This time, the two of us kept it simple with one half-and-half pizza and two beers! With such a wide range of menu options and the ability to order half-and-half, it suited us well since we wanted to try two pizzas at once. Jeonpo has so many restaurants that it's always hard to decide where to go, but this is a place worth remembering on days you're craving pizza.

It's also a good option since you can head straight to a nearby café afterward, whether you're planning a Jeonpo date route or just want pizza and beer together in Seomyeon.
