Looking for somewhere to eat meat near Guui Station? I visited Ssamchae Sotttukkeong Samgyeopsal, a Guui Station Korean barbecue restaurant where fresh wrap vegetables and flavorful side dishes are unlimited, and quality pork and beef are grilled deliciously for you.

Getting to Ssamchae Sotttukkeong Samgyeopsal from Guui Station
I visited Ssamchae Sotttukkeong Samgyeopsal, about a 10-minute walk from Exit 4 of Guui Station!

It is on the first floor of the retail area in Building 102 of Jayang Haneulchae Vere Apartments, and it is easy to spot right away :)ാഹ

A spacious, tidy restaurant and self-service station
When you think of a barbecue restaurant, many people probably picture somewhere cramped and hectic, right? This place is different! It is quite spacious, with tables set comfortably apart, so I did not have to worry about the next table :)

I liked the clean, orderly feeling the moment I walked in, and my eyes naturally went straight to the self-service station for wrap vegetables and side dishes.

Fresh wrap vegetables and a variety of side dishes are unlimited, so for someone like me who loves wraps, it is honestly heaven.

There was a separate meat refrigerator, and I think that is why the meat is such good quality.

They also had high chairs ready, so it looked like a nice place to come with a little one!

I spotted celebrity autographs in one corner of the restaurant, and it felt like this was already a proven favorite near Guui Station :)

Choose between a pot-lid griddle and charcoal brazier
They have both pork and beef for grilling, and you can choose either a pot-lid griddle or a charcoal brazier! There was such a wide range of options too, from noodles and stew sides to shabu-kalguksu (hot-pot noodle soup) and set menus :)

At Ssamchae Sotttukkeong Samgyeopsal near Guui Station, we chose the pot-lid griddle and ordered two portions of pork belly (200 g/₩17,000), pork neck (200 g/₩17,000), and two large draft beers (₩3,900)!

And definitely order the large draft beer. It comes in a truly huge, ice-cold glass, and with the meat, the pairing was just perfect. If you come here, a large draft beer is a must!

Side dishes and grilling meat on the pot-lid griddle
The basic side dishes included dressed onions, gat kimchi (mustard-leaf kimchi), godeulppaegi (Korean wild lettuce), white kimchi, pickled chili peppers, and myeongi namul (pickled wild garlic leaves).

Each small plate is set with curry powder and sesame salt!

They also brought kimchi, bracken fern, and seasoned bean sprouts to grill with the meat, so the spread felt generous from the start :)

Once the pot-lid griddle heats up, the staff grill the meat for you! We just got to sit back and wait comfortably :)

When the meat is partly cooked, they neatly place kimchi, bean sprouts, and bracken fern around the edge of the grill. This is when the eating show begins!

What it was like alternating pork belly and pork neck
The pork belly caramelized crisp on the outside of the pot-lid griddle while staying full of juices inside. That first piece, picked up and dipped in sesame salt, was honestly moving. The fatty part seemed to melt away gently, while the lean meat was chewy yet tender, filling my mouth with savory flavor the more I chewed!

The aged kimchi grilling around the edge soaked up the pork belly fat, giving it both tang and deep umami, while the bean sprouts stayed crisp and cut through the richness perfectly :)

We added the pork neck partway through our pork belly, and its higher ratio of lean meat gave it a chewier, firmer texture than the pork belly!

The more I chewed, the more the meat's naturally clean sweetness came through, I guess :) It was also fun to alternate it with pork belly and compare their different charms.

The wrap combination was truly the highlight: put a piece of meat, kimchi, and all sorts of side dishes onto fresh perilla leaf or lettuce, then pop it all into your mouth. The richness of the meat, the freshness of the wrap vegetables, and the sharp aroma of myeongi namul burst together at once—that moment of perfect balance in my mouth was the real deal :)

Why I recommend it for Korean barbecue near Guui Station
If you are looking for a barbecue restaurant near Guui Station, I sincerely recommend Ssamchae Sotttukkeong Samgyeopsal! With unlimited wrap vegetables, plentiful side dishes, and staff grilling service, it is a place that delivers both value and satisfaction :) The large draft beer and an extra order of pork neck are musts!
