Apgujeong brunch café with sunny windows: Mild High Club
In short
Mild High Club Apgujeong Branch is a spacious brunch café in Gangnam, Seoul. We had chipotle chicken salad, butter garlic shrimp pasta, and lemonade; the sunlit room and lemon-accompanied pasta were especially lovely. Verdict: a relaxed Apgujeong brunch spot worth returning to.

After going for my Le Blanc wedding-dress fitting, I was sooo tired and wiped out, so I looked for a good brunch spot nearby and wandered in. I liked it way more than I expected, so I had to write about it. All you brides-to-be, go go! It was Mild High Club Apgujeong Branch (마일드하이클럽 압구정점), seriously.

A spacious place for brunch in Apgujeong
I honestly wondered if there had been such a big brunch place in Apgujeong all along. (Land is expensive here.) When you think of brunch around Apgujeong, you expect somewhere small, right? But this place was HUGE!! The tables were generously spaced too, so it never felt cramped.

Best of all, the floor-to-ceiling windows let the sunlight stream straight in, and it was really pretty. Since we visited during the day, the whole place looked gorgeous and felt perfect for an Apgujeong brunch.

We were the first customers at opening, but before long, people kept coming in until the big dining room was nearly full. On a weekday afternoon too—that definitely says it is popular, haha.
It is about 500 m from Exit 5 of Apgujeong Rodeo Station and fairly close to Dosan Park. It is also around a nine-minute walk from Galleria Department Store, so it would be nice to stop by after shopping. (I walked over from Le Blanc Wedding, lol.)
Weekday brunch items can be ordered from 11 AM. Parking is available too, and apparently bringing an external parking ticket gets you an immediate ₩5,000 discount on a meal menu. Those little perks are secretly the best. You know how hard parking in Apgujeong or Gangnam is, right???

The pretty daytime atmosphere at Mild High Club Apgujeong Branch
What I liked most was, of course, the space. The restaurant is genuinely large and comfortable. Sunlight comes through the floor-to-ceiling windows, so the atmosphere is much prettier during the day. The interior is clean but atmospheric, making it nice to take photos while you eat—stylish, but not trying too hard to force a vibe!
There were actually lots of tables where guests were eating and chatting at leisure. It would work well for meeting friends, a date, or a gathering. Above all, because it is so spacious, it felt less stuffy even as more people arrived!
Easy ordering by QR code

You order by scanning the QR code on the table. There was quite a variety, from brunch and pasta to salads, gnocchi, and risotto, so we spent ages deciding what to get.
The three things we ordered were the chipotle chicken salad, butter garlic shrimp pasta, and lemonade!
How filling is the chipotle chicken salad?

A salad? Actually, it was more like an open focaccia sandwich topped with chipotle chicken. Rather than a light add-on, it was surprisingly filling. With chicken in it, it was substantial enough for a meal, and the slightly exotic chipotle flavor meant it was definitely not just an ordinary sandwich.

It went well with the arugula, and I loved that there was plenty of cheese on top!! It would also be a nice side when one brunch dish alone does not feel like quite enough.
Butter garlic shrimp pasta with lemon

My friend and I also picked the butter garlic shrimp pasta. Since it was butter garlic, I expected it to be overly rich, but it was cleaner-tasting than I thought. Refreshing, even!!!
There were four plump shrimp, and they were nicely substantial, so there was something to bite into. Most of all, it came with lemon, and squeezing a little over it now and then made it fresher and much cleaner to eat. It had that savory butter-and-garlic flavor, but the lemon made it bright?

It is not an ultra-cheap brunch spot, but considering the food, plating, and atmosphere, it definitely felt like we had come out for a proper brunch rather than just to a neighborhood pasta place.
Super-tart lemonade

We chose lemonade for our drink, and I liked this too. It was not just sweet, syrupy lemonade—there were lemon slices on top, so it looked pretty, and it was super sour!!!! This was not budget lemonade; it tasted like the real-deal lemon stuff.

Taking a sip after the pasta felt like it completely reset my palate.
I went with a friend, but I want to return for a date too
Overall, Mild High Club Apgujeong Branch was somewhere I would return to for the space alone. It is a brunch café in Apgujeong, but the room is spacious and comfortable, and I loved the daytime atmosphere with sunshine pouring through the big windows.

I visited with a friend that day, but I think it would be great to come on a date with my boyfriend later too!! It might be pretty at night when it is darker as well?! I go to Apgujeong and Cheongdam often while preparing for my wedding, so it seemed like somewhere worth stopping by whenever I am craving Apgujeong brunch. Next time, I want to try other dishes too, haha.
