Gangnam café for family sarada bread boxes: K-Chop Sarada

In short

K-Chop Sarada Sinsa Direct Store is a bakery café in Gangnam, Seoul, for sarada bread and coffee. I picked assorted toppings to share with my family, with boxes available in sets of five and an iced Americano for 1,900 won. A lovely pick for nostalgic snack bread, takeaway, or gifting.

The exterior is eye-catching from the start. A place for tangy ketchup and coffee?! Haha, this is a great dessert spot near Sinsa Station :) Sarada bread (a soft roll filled with salad) is something I ate a lot as a child. Here, this dessert has been reinterpreted in a modern way, so there are lots of ways to enjoy it.

It is a takeaway-focused brand, but there are plenty of seats inside too, so I think it would be nice for anyone having a meal. I set my things down on a table for a moment and started properly packing up desserts from Garosu-gil :)“

Choosing from the remaining sarada bread

They had set menus that go nicely with sarada bread. Even a set with sarada bread, a drink, and fries seemed like great value. The iced Americano was only ₩1,900, which was really affordable.

There are usually so many types of sarada bread, but by the time I arrived, many had already sold, so I had to choose from what was left :)”

K-Chop Sarada's basic bread starts at ₩1,500, and the price changes a little depending on the ingredients. I chose the K-Chop sarada bread and vegetable sarada, then one egg sarada and one potato sarada as well.

I also put one ham-and-cheese sarada in here. You place each one carefully onto the prepared tray and request packaging. Honestly, they all looked so delicious that choosing was really difficult.

A takeaway assortment to share with family

My carefully chosen sarada bread! Box packaging is available in sets of five. Any other individual items were wrapped beautifully in paper bags. They placed them one by one on the prepared tray.

You pay for takeaway near the entrance, and you can order drinks from the café menu at the counter. I ordered an iced Americano! The combination of easy-to-eat sarada bread and iced Americano was completely satisfying :)“
