On your last day in Jeju, or even your first, before heading to the airport — don't you sometimes want a genuinely Jeju-style café to relax in? While looking for spots near Jeju Airport, I visited Jayeon in PLANT827 (자연in PLANT827), tucked into a corner of the 17,000-pyeong garden at Wolpyeong Flower Market 🤍
Just as I'd heard, it has everything — a huge flower hill, a hydrangea garden, and delicious handmade bakery goods — making it the perfect healing course for a Jeju trip with parents or kids. I really wanted to share it! 😊

The first thing I loved was the huge private parking lot! When you're driving a rental car around Jeju, easy parking is everything — even nervous drivers can park here comfortably haha
Getting out of the car and walking into the garden, the untouched natural scenery hit me all at once 🤍 It really felt like — this is Jeju.
The hydrangea garden and flower hill are so beautifully kept that just walking through them feels like proper healing!
Walking along admiring the hydrangea garden and nature, you eventually arrive at the Jayeon in PLANT827 café building ✨
Right next to the café you can spot rabbits and chickens~~
Maybe because the whole place is so nature-friendly, the kids looked absolutely delighted haha. There are also plenty of outdoor tables in the front yard, where families were relaxing with their babies.
Handmade breads and gift sets at the PLANT827 bakery counter
The moment you step inside, the smell of fresh-baked bread hits you and a whole spread of pastries unfolds in front of you.
Among the large cafés near Jeju Airport, this place has a reputation for exceptionally good bakery quality, so I went in with high expectations — and it exceeded them!!
The signature danish bread loaf package looked gorgeous,
and the pastries had a luxurious look, with that crisp-outside, soft-inside texture just from looking at them!
There were pound cakes, easy to share,
and sausage bread, great as a light meal too.
On one side, neatly arranged gift sets (Chuseok/holiday gift sets, etc.) were well stocked,
which looked great as Jeju trip souvenirs or gifts!!
A wide variety of salted bread: plain, mentaiko, garlic, and more — so many kinds were on offer.

After paying, there's a self-serve station where you can cut your own bread,
so you can neatly trim it to the size you want before heading to your seat haha.

The biggest appeal of Jayeon in PLANT827 is its refreshingly huge floor-to-ceiling windows!
After soaking up the garden outside, coming in and enjoying coffee and bread while gazing at nature through the window — this is Jeju, I thought ❤️ The tables are well spaced, and best of all, the seats are comfy sofas, perfect for a leisurely chat!

Since we were in Jeju, a Jeju matcha latte was a must, right?? Rich, nutty matcha flavor, absolute thumbs up! And I'd heard the ice cream latte here is famous, so I tried it — the smooth, rich Sanghamokjang-style flavor blended beautifully with the coffee, and it was really delicious 👍🏻 Strongly recommend!
Among the desserts, I'd recommend the 'mentaiko potato salted bread.' The bottom of the salted bread is baked properly crisp, and the combination of the mild potato on top and the salty mentaiko was seriously insane... you have to try it!!
Build-your-own-garden experience, and is Jayeon in PLANT827 worth a stop?
Sitting there for a long time, watching the garden through the window, all my fatigue melted away and I felt properly healed~~ For reference, they were also running a 'make your own garden' experience. If you're visiting with kids or looking for a unique date course, joining in might make a great memory! 😊
