《Mixed Platter》 This time we ordered the ₩49,000 mixed platter, made up of pork belly 180g, pork jowl 180g, and fresh short rib 240g, for about 600g total. You get to try a good variety of cuts and the portion is quite generous, so given today's dining prices, ₩49,000 felt pretty reasonable to me. 😆😆

One thing I really liked about Hanam Doeji Jip is that they pre-sear the meat and then grill it for you, so you can just relax and eat. The staff watch the meat and grill it to the perfect doneness, which also made it easy to time each bite.

And the kimchi grilled alongside the meat was genuinely delicious. Kimchi grilled golden-brown in the meat's fat, eaten together with the pork — that combo is unbeatable. I love kimchi,,❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Pairing the savory pork belly with the tangy, well-fermented kimchi kept me reaching for more.

With 600g total and a variety of cuts — pork belly, pork jowl, and fresh short rib — this was a solid order for two people craving Korean BBQ. Overall, the price, portion, and taste were all satisfying.

Hanam Doeji Jip isn't just about the meat — the accompanying dishes and side dishes were generous too, which made the whole meal satisfying. 😆😆😆😆 The standard side dishes came in a nice variety as well, with wild garlic, bean sprouts, garlic, and radish salad all pairing well with the meat.

What I especially liked was that if any side dish ran low, they'd bring more without hesitation, so we could eat freely without worrying about it. When we asked for lettuce wraps, they brought them right away too, so we got to wrap up generous bites of meat. Adding a different side dish between bites of meat kept things interesting — there was never a dull moment.

And of course, you can't skip the wild garlic at Hanam Doeji Jip!! Rolling meat up in wild garlic is still the best combo!

The steamed egg we ordered as a side was fluffy and moist, perfect for a spoonful between bites of meat, and the cold noodles (couldn't get a photo) were cool and tangy, cutting right through the richness. Slurping a bite of noodles after the meat left my mouth feeling refreshed!

And when we ordered Sprite, it came with a glass full of ice, which felt like a thoughtful touch. Even little details like this made the place feel good to be in. Overall, from the side dishes to the extra menu items to the attentive service, it was all satisfying.
