Seongsu burger restaurant: double cheese burger for three at bd Burger

On the weekday lunch set (11:30am–1:00pm), three of us ordered the Double Cheese Burger set for 15,900 won and the bd Wasabi Shrimp Burger set for 14,900 won, each 3,000 won off, and swapped the fries for eggplant fritters and mushroom fritters. Two fritter sides got a little heavy for three people, so mix in regular fries — but if you like a rich, cheesy burger, the Double Cheese Burger at bd Burger is the one to order.

There's no Burger King or McDonald's in Seongsu, sigh... so while hunting for a burger place near Seongsu Station I found bd Burger Seongsu and went to check it out ^_^

How to walk to bd Burger from Seongsu Station Exit 3
bd Burger Seongsu is a 6-minute walk from Seongsu Station Exit 3. There's a banner out front so it's easy to spot, and you just head up the stairs at the entrance.
See that character doing double thumbs-ups? Apparently that's where the name 'bd' comes from — the shape of two thumbs-up sides by side lol. So cute.
Arriving at 11:35am on a weekday: seats and waiting at bd Burger
bd Burger Seongsu opens at 11:30am on weekdays, and I got there around 11:35am — plenty of seats free at that point. But by about 50 minutes in it was completely full, and there was even a wait by the time I left, whoa.
Seating is mostly tables for two — 8 to 9 of them — plus a few tables for four. There are 3 tables for three, and those filled up fastest. Makes sense for a Seongsu burger hotspot.
bd Burger's self-bar: disposable gloves and one drink refill
There's a self-bar on one side of bd Burger Seongsu with pretty much everything you need.
Ketchup, straws, disposable gloves (I love a burger place that has gloves), wet wipes, tissues, forks, knives, small plates.
Water cups, water too! With the gloves on hand you can eat your burger fairly cleanly.
There's also a drink refill corner. When you order a burger and a drink, staff bring it out the first time, but after that you can refill once yourself at the self-bar! ++ Only one refill allowed!!
Once you're done, return your dishes to the bussing station.

bd Burger Seongsu is also running an event where you get a free corn salad for writing a Naver receipt review or a Google review. After you order, once your food is ready, the tablet screen tells you to come pick it up! Just go grab it then.
What three of us ordered at bd Burger
We visited as three and ordered 2 bd Double Cheese Burgers and 1 bd Wasabi Shrimp Burger, both swapped to eggplant fritters + mushroom fritters (+₩2,000), plus an extra corn salad.
Double Cheese Burger at bd Burger
The Double Cheese Burger can be upgraded with bacon (+₩1,500) or an extra cheese patty (+₩4,000), but I kept mine original without add-ons. True to its name, this Seongsu burger favorite comes with double cheese and double beef patties. Personally, I don't eat burgers with fried chicken or anything fried in them — except for Ssai Burger — I'm a beef patty person. bd Burger's Double Cheese Burger is loaded with cheese and beef, plus big chunks of onion. Onion is the only vegetable in it! It came out freshly made, warm and delicious. The juiciness was on another level too 👍 the bun was clearly soft and tasty! It would've been nice to have more vegetables besides onion, but I guess that's just bd Burger's style~!
bd Wasabi Shrimp Burger
One of bd Burger's signature menu items, made with wasabi sauce, shrimp, and green mustard leaf. The shrimp patty was tasty and the bun was great as always haha. There's wasabi sauce in it, but the wasabi flavor and aroma weren't that strong!
Eggplant fritters and mushroom fritters as side swaps
Regular fries felt too plain, so we swapped for eggplant and mushroom fritters. They come with chipotle sauce and ranch sauce. The eggplant inside the fritter was soft and delicious, and the mushroom fritters were full of mushroom aroma and just as good. The two people I went with said the mushroom fritters were better, while I preferred the eggplant fritters! But if you're visiting with three or more people like we did, don't just order eggplant and mushroom fritters — mix in some regular fries too lol.
