Jamsil bar with dessert anju and corn ice cream: Jojomomo
In short
Jojomomo is a Korean traditional liquor bar in the basement at the entrance of the Bangi-dong food alley, near Jamsil Station Exit 10 in Songpa, Seoul. Visiting with friends, Jojomomo poured a Jirisan Gangsoeju welcome drink and served pollock roe cheese potato jeon (pancake) followed by three dessert-style anju (drinking snacks): corn ice cream, pineapple sorbet and cream cheese dried persimmon rolls. Between picking your own glass and the owner's thoughtful touches, Jojomomo is a bar worth becoming a regular at.

Today's post is a review of Jojomomo, a Jamsil bar I'd recommend if you're looking for a good-atmosphere date spot in Bangi-dong, Jamsil!

Where is Jojomomo? Jamsil Station Exit 10, at the start of the Bangi-dong food alley
Jojomomo is located at the entrance of the Bangi-dong food alley, near Jamsil Station Exit 10 — perfect if you're looking for a Bangi-dong bar. The address is 16 Ogeum-ro 11-gil, Songpa-gu, Seoul, B1 floor.

Inside Jojomomo: cozy lighting and an antique interior
The interior has cozy lighting and an antique interior that gives it a very moody feel — exactly what I'd want in a date spot in Jamsil's Bangi area. There's also a bar table, which looked great for solo drinking too.

Jojomomo's menu: Korean anju and a solo-drinking set
The menu. Jojomomo is a Korean bar with a wide range of traditional liquors and plenty of anju (drinking snacks) that pair well with them. Their signature dishes include limited-quantity braised pork ribs, cream tteokbokki, gamtae scallop steam, and a gochujang doenjang stew simmered thick with red pepper paste — lots of Korean-style dishes across the board. Since a lot of guests come here to drink alone, they also have a lighter, budget-friendly solo-drinking set! If you want to enjoy a solo drink in Bangi-dong, Jamsil, I'd recommend it.

There's also a really wide range of traditional liquors that go well with the Korean anju! They're priced generously so guests can try them easily, so the traditional liquors here are genuinely great value. If you want to enjoy comfortable, delicious Korean anju with traditional liquor, I'd recommend Jojomomo :)

The welcome drink: Jirisan Gangsoeju and the complimentary starter
This is the traditional liquor welcome drink Jojomomo gives you! They serve a yakju (medicinal rice wine) called Jirisan Gangsoeju as the welcome drink — lightly sweet and smooth, so my mood was already lifted haha.

Already getting excited with my friends over the welcome drink. And the glasses are so cute too 🖤🖤🖤

They also give you potato salad and crackers as a starter snack! Even the starter is this good... I'm already committed to becoming a regular... 🖤

Pick your own glass when you order a drink
Here's the thing — when you order a drink, you get to pick whatever glass you want!!! Cute glasses, antique glasses, oriental-style glasses that go well with traditional liquor. There were so many types to choose from, it was fun just picking one!

My friends went all-in on picking theirs, lol. The glasses were all so cute and pretty that everyone got super careful about it ㅠ

Drinking out of a pretty glass makes it taste even better, I swear 🖤

Pollock roe cheese potato jeon: crisp like a pizza
The anju we ordered at Jojomomo was pollock roe cheese jeon (potato pancake). Thin, sliced potato pancake piled high with pollock roe and cheese! Unlike a regular potato jeon, this one felt more like pizza. Totally my type... 🖤

There was so much cheese packed in — totally rich and savory! And the pollock roe was scattered throughout, salty and so tasty 🖤

Since the potato is sliced, the jeon comes out crispy — that's the standout feature! If you're deciding what to order, I recommend the pollock roe cheese jeon!

Three dessert anju: corn ice cream, pineapple sorbet, cream cheese persimmon rolls
For dessert I ordered the corn ice cream, and it actually has real corn in it — a subtle corn flavor that made it sweet, soft, and delicious 💛

A light palate cleanser with the pineapple sorbet 🖤 Perfect for helping with the hangover already, lol

The cream cheese dried persimmon rolls are so pretty... a cool, refreshing dessert anju, exactly right for pairing with traditional liquor! Sweet dried persimmon (gotgam) packed full of savory cream cheese inside — genuinely delicious.

Mouthwash after you pay: the owner's thoughtful touches
They handed us mouthwash on the way out after paying. The whole time we were there, I could really feel how much thought the owner put into every detail — this is a Jamsil bar I genuinely want to keep coming back to 🖤

If you're looking for a good-atmosphere date spot in Bangi-dong, Jamsil, a calm bar for solo drinking, or a hideout-like bar in Bangi that you'd want to keep to yourself with friends, I'd recommend Jojomomo :)
