Weekday lunch: yukhoe bibimbap wrapped in gim at Hyangtaek Jeonpo
In short
Hyangtaek Jeonpo Branch is a Korean restaurant in Busanjin, Busan, on the way to Jeonpo Café Street in Seomyeon. Visited on a weekday lunch, the yukhoe bibimbap (14,000 won) was mixed with egg yolk and wrapped in dried gim (seaweed sheets), with a generous rice portion finished clean. Dongbaekjeon payment is accepted, making it a solid pick for a filling one-bowl meal near Seomyeon.

Did everyone have a good meal today? Lizzy had a really delicious lunch today.
Today's lunch was yukhoe bibimbap (raw beef mixed rice bowl). I went to Hyangtaek Jeonpo Branch, which is on the way to Jeonpo Café Street in Seomyeon, Busan. Let's start the review 💚

Location and hours of Hyangtaek Jeonpo Branch
Hyangtaek Jeonpo Branch / Daily 11:00 - 20:00 (break time 15:30 - 17:00) / 42-1 Seojeon-ro, 1st floor, Busanjin-gu, Busan, South Korea
It's on the 1st floor of the building, so I went straight in. It was lunchtime, so every table was full of customers. I couldn't take photos of the interior. Each table had paper cups, utensils, and tissues.

Menu and order — yukhoe bibimbap ₩14,000
This is the menu board at Hyangtaek Jeonpo Branch. Lizzy ordered the yukhoe bibimbap (₩14,000).

There's a summer-only menu, pollack yukhoe mulhoe, priced at ₩16,000. The table of older ladies behind me ordered it, and I heard them say it was delicious. Check out the weekday-only Naver receipt review event too.

The full yukhoe bibimbap spread
About 5-10 minutes after ordering, the food came out. Gochujang (red chili paste) sauce, egg yolk, individual side dishes, dried gim, and the yukhoe bibimbap all arrived. Good good.

A little later, the miso soup arrived too. First, let's add the egg yolk into the yukhoe.

Let's spread out the round mound of yukhoe. The condition of the raw beef was super fresh!

Mixing it up: pear, bean sprouts, sesame oil scent
Let's mix it all up evenly. There's pear fruit under the vegetables, and bean sprouts mixed in too. I think there's sesame oil in there too (I could smell it). So delicious... and the rice portion is surprisingly generous.
A heaping spoonful, nyam nyam nyam. So good.

How to eat it wrapped in dried gim
I tried eating the yukhoe bibimbap wrapped in gim. It's delicious just as is, but wrapping the rice in gim is also great ♡ Eat it however suits your taste more.

It was so good that I ended up finishing every last bit. My stomach is super full. Hehehe.

After the meal — Dongbaekjeon payment, restroom
I ate really well. Feeling nice and full. Dongbaekjeon payment is accepted. Since Hyangtaek is a chain, you can count on a solid, reliable taste. If you want a filling one-bowl meal near Seomyeon, I'd recommend Hyangtaek Jeonpo Branch.
And with that, this honest nyam-nyam review comes to an end. The restroom is also inside the building, and it's clean.
