Today I went to Anmin Busan, a charcoal-grilled pork restaurant in Seomyeon, Busan. With overwhelming meat quality and a upscale atmosphere that would satisfy anyone, this is a genuine Seomyeon meat gem — fresh domestic pork sourced daily and grilled over charcoal for deep flavor and juiciness.

Since staff grilled all the meat for us, I'd recommend this place for dates, company dinners, or anyone in Seomyeon looking for a spot where the meat gets grilled for you!

From the bar table to the room: the interior vibe
The interior had a really upscale design. The tables were wide and roomy, comfortable enough for family groups too.
There's a bar table for couples and an inner room in the back, making it good for company dinners and all kinds of gatherings.
Since my partner and I had booked ahead, we were shown to the bar table.

What are Anmin Busan's signature dishes?
Anmin, a charcoal-grilled raw pork specialist, made the fresh meat quality obvious at a glance. Signature dishes include daepa gabri (green onion gabrisal), whole gabrisal, and a rare-cuts pork platter featuring the deeply textured nakyeobsal; a raw pork skin and hangjeongsal dish limited to 2kg a day; and the Anmin whole pig set combining pork belly, neck, rare cuts, and herbal-marinated pork skin all at once.

Little touches of care were noticeable throughout — mini fans, mouthwash, floss, hair ties, deodorant, even aprons. A thoughtful space.
Today's order

Banchan and sauce spread
They set out the basic side dishes first.
For sauces: fish-sauce soy sauce, shiitake wasabi, cumin salt (jjeuran), pine-flower salt, curry bean powder, salted hairtail guts, and cheese fondue sauce; on the side, seasonal pickles, green onion kimchi, washed kimchi plus yuja-ginger and garlic pickles.
Barley ssamjang with lettuce wraps and cabbage salad also came out.

Beef tartare on grass ₩17,000
First up was a beautifully plated beef tartare made with fresh Korean beef top round (hongdukkaesal). Drizzled with lemon juice, the subtle sweetness paired with the lemon's freshness made it doubly delicious! (Recommended ⭐️)

Maehwasu ₩6,000
One bite in and I realized drinks were a must with a snack this fancy haha!! I was curious about Anmin's signature highballs and cocktails too, but we went with maehwasu (plum wine) this time! First time trying it — it had no alcohol taste at all, so even a lightweight like me could drink it easily!! Highly recommend if you can't handle soju!

Raw pork rare-cuts platter ₩39,000, fully grilled for you
Next came our raw pork rare-cuts platter. Since Anmin grills everything you order, it was so easy to just chat while eating 💕
The grilled meat was beautifully plated in a brazier with a solid fuel burner, so it stayed warm the whole time we ate — I really loved that.

The deeply textured nakyeobsal, whole gabrisal, and daepa gabrisal on the rare-cuts platter were cuts you don't normally come across, so it felt special and delicious!

For the first bite, I dipped it in pine-flower salt to enjoy the meat's natural flavor. The gabrisal's savory fat, juiciness, and the smoky charcoal aroma were spot on. With so many sauces to dip into, we got to enjoy a variety of flavors the whole meal.
Wrapping a bite in fresh lettuce — the pickles and side dishes made the ssam wraps the tastiest part 👍🏻👍🏻

Sides ordered: steamed egg and cold ramen
Signature steamed egg ₩3,000
Partway through, I got a craving for warm steamed egg. Topped with furikake, this steamed egg is always delicious!

Mashitte cold ramen ₩6,000
Anmin has three types of ramen, including soyu ramen and golbimmyeon with a secret spicy sauce, but after eating so much gabrisal I craved something cold, so I ordered the cold ramen. The cold anchovy broth with buckwheat soba base was great too!!

Who should visit Anmin Busan
I enjoyed Anmin Busan so much I wondered why I hadn't found it sooner. With staff grilling everything, friendly service, and an upscale atmosphere, it was an all-around satisfying day. If you're looking for a proper charcoal-grilled raw pork specialist in Seomyeon, Busan for a date or company dinner, I highly recommend Anmin Busan!!
