I wanted to have coffee and relax in Anseong, so I stopped by Chat Baker. These days, even when I go to a café, I'd rather sit slowly in a nice space than just gulp down coffee quickly.

So this time I deliberately headed to Chat Baker, a large café in Gongdo, Anseong, known for its spacious and comfortable interior. It's close to Anseong Farm Land and Starfield Anseong too, so it's a fine stop after an outing.
Where is Chat Baker, and what are its hours and brunch order times?

Is parking easy at Chat Baker in Gongdo, Anseong?

There's plenty of parking right in front of and beside the café building, so driving there wasn't stressful at all.

This large Anseong café has two floors and a high ceiling, so it never felt cramped. The water flowing outside the floor-to-ceiling windows looked so refreshing.

The gaps between seats were generous and there were many table types, so it was easy to pick a comfortable spot. The first floor felt good for browsing the bakery and having coffee.
First-floor bakery case: milk bread, cake slices and mentaiko salt bread

On the first floor there's a counter alongside a bakery display case, plus seats by the window. The milk bread was soft and delicious even plain.

Cakes were displayed by size and type, and for the slice cakes you could choose from choco, cheese, or cream cheese. Personally, I loved how soft and moist the cake was.

Looking around the case, there were so many kinds it was hard to decide what to get. From mentaiko (pollock roe) salt bread to hot chili sausage bread, there were plenty of tasty breads.
The second-floor self-bar and bread-warming oven at Chat Baker

On the second floor there's a self-bar along with an oven for warming up bread. Water is also available, so it's easy to use freely.

Going up to the second floor, the space opens up even more. There were 4-person tables and group seating, plus comfy sofas and floor seating — a wide variety. Floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides gave a great sense of openness.

With generous seat spacing across both floors, it was easy to relax, and with a variety of bakery items, coffee, and quiet music playing, it was even better. This Gongdo, Anseong café really had a huge variety of seating types.
Floor seating at Chat Baker if you come with kids

There's floor seating in particular, which looked great to use if visiting with kids. Cushions are laid out throughout the floor-seating area.

If you grab a seat by the floor-to-ceiling windows, you can spend time relaxing over coffee. The lush green trees visible outside even lifted my mood.
Cake slices, scones and the LP record interior
Since I came to Chat Baker, I couldn't skip the bread, of course. I picked cake and scones — things that pair well with coffee. The cake was soft and not too sweet, which I liked.

The interior using LP records also captured Chat Baker's own vibe well. The music playing in the café was tasteful and set a nice mood too.
Chat Baker's outdoor terrace and the water curtain on the window

Stepping outside, there's a terrace space too. The white chairs and tables looked even cleaner. In nice weather like these days, the outdoor area has a much better atmosphere. Just watching the water flowing outside the floor-to-ceiling windows felt stress-relieving.

A place to enjoy bread and coffee while slowly listening to music — the kind of spot that comes to mind when you want to sit a while, chat, and take it easy. At this large café in Gongdo, Anseong, you can enjoy bakery, coffee, and atmosphere all at once, so if you're looking for a place to rest after Anseong Farm Land or Starfield Anseong, give Chat Baker a try.
