On an evening when I was meeting a friend near Magok Naru Station after a long while, I was trying to figure out dinner and looked up a Magok pasta place with good vibes. Where I ended up was Pasta Go Magok Branch. It had a great-value set menu with a surprisingly solid composition, so it worked out well as a proper meal.

Where is Pasta Go Magok Branch, and is there parking?

Pasta Go is on the 2nd floor of Botanic Prugio City, directly connected to Exit 1 of Magok Naru Station, so it was easy to find being right in front of the station. Parking gets 2 hours free inside the Botanic Prugio City officetel building.

I visited a bit early in the evening. Walking in, the whole place had a comfortable atmosphere for a meal. It didn't feel like a big deal to eat alone there either, so it seemed like a good spot for a quick lunch or a simple dinner.

The clean white-and-wood interior gave it a nice atmosphere, and the tables were spaced generously, so it looked good for a date or a family meal out too. The self-serve bar area was kept clean and tidy.

What is in a Pasta Go solo set, and what does it cost?

Ordering was simple at the kiosk near the entrance. Beyond the great-value set menus, there was a wide range of dishes — pasta, risotto, steak and more.

There was also an easy-to-read menu board right next to it, which made browsing convenient. The solo set menu — pasta + side + drink — was priced in the ₩10,000s, such great value. My friend and I each picked according to our own taste.

Ordering two solo sets at Pasta Go to share between friends

We went with two different solo sets: Meat Meat Pasta + Gorgonzola Pizza + Trevi, and Bafongchi Oil Pasta + Green Salad + Pepsi Zero.

We set everything in the middle of the table to share comfortably, and the pasta plus sides looked really generous together. What I liked most was that ordering the sets, rather than just one pasta each, let us enjoy a variety of things together.

How the Bafongchi Oil Pasta tasted

We started with the bafongchi oil pasta, and the noodles blended so well with the basil sauce that the first bite wasn't heavy at all. Twirling the noodles up with the sauce, the flavor carried through naturally in the mouth, and the plump shrimp went well alongside it.

The green salad that comes with the set

The green salad had fresh vegetables paired well with almonds, cherry tomatoes, grated cheese and balsamic dressing.

Meat Meat Pasta and the gorgonzola mini pizza

True to its name, the Meat Meat Pasta was loaded with meatballs, and they went well with the rich, deep tomato sauce. You could also choose the spice level, and going with slightly spicy turned out just right.

The gorgonzola mini pizza we chose as a side was delicious dipped generously in honey. Having a side alongside the pasta was great because it let us taste something different in between bites. These days even ordering just one dish when eating out can feel pricey, but Pasta Go's set menu was great value with a solid composition.

Is Pasta Go Magok Branch worth it for good-value pasta?

This time we each ordered a solo set and shared, and having pasta and a side together made for a more filling and satisfying meal than I expected. If you're looking for a good-value pasta restaurant in Magok, or a set menu you can comfortably enjoy alone, I'd recommend Pasta Go. It was such great value that I'd like to come back and try other menu items next time.
