Corn gnocchi and pork steak with wasabi at Apgujeong Western

I've been obsessed with gnocchi lately — potato gnocchi on a menu and I'm ordering it, no question. I stopped by near Apgujeong Dosan Park and found Eulji Darak Apgujeong Dosan Park, a spot with such a nice atmosphere it seemed perfect for an Apgujeong blind date too. Here's my review of the corn gnocchi, pork steak, and katsu sando I ordered 😋

Eulji Darak Dosan location and hours

Eulji Darak Apgujeong Dosan Park is on the 2nd floor at 25 Eonju-ro 168-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea. Hours are Mon-Sun 11:30-21:30, with a break time from 15:15-16:30. It also has Wi-Fi, group seating, reservations, takeout, delivery, a high chair, and a waiting area.

Getting there — 520m from Apgujeong Rodeo Station Exit 5

This Apgujeong blind-date spot, Eulji Darak Dosan, is 520m from Apgujeong Rodeo Station Exit 5, so it's about a 5-7 minute walk. It's on the 2nd floor of the building with the Eulji Darak sign, and the walk there is simple, so it's comfortable enough to get to on foot.

No parking — nearby lots recommended

There's no parking on-site. Instead, I'd recommend a paid private lot about a 2-minute walk from Eulji Darak Dosan Park, or a paid public lot about a 5-minute walk away.

The warm lighting design adds to the vibe too. With such a nice atmosphere, this Apgujeong pasta place is also known as a great spot for meetups or blind dates in Apgujeong :)

This is the menu at Eulji Darak Dosan, the Apgujeong pasta restaurant with such a nice atmosphere. It's a Western menu lineup with pasta, omurice, steak, risotto, and gnocchi. There are sides like katsu sando and fries, plus highballs. The menu is concise but works well for lunch, brunch, or dinner, so I'd recommend it if you're planning an Apgujeong meetup or blind date.

Every dish looks amazing visually too… so it's good not just for blind dates but for regular dates and anniversary meals as well — I get why people looking for an Apgujeong blind-date restaurant end up here.

Corn Gnocchi, ₩19,000 — crispy outside, chewy inside

Wow… this is gnocchi made with handmade corn purée and cream. Unlike regular cream gnocchi, its yellow color and the roasted corn topping make it look extra special and delicious.

Maybe it's the onion, bacon, and the poppy corn kernels, but the cream doesn't feel too heavy. It's a flavor kids would love too, so I'd recommend this Eulji Darak Dosan location to families looking for a kid-friendly Apgujeong restaurant.

The portion of potato gnocchi is pretty generous, so finishing it left me really full, and the popping corn kernels kept the texture lively throughout, which made it even better! The gnocchi itself was crispy outside and chewy inside — perfect.

This is a dish with lots of different textures, and I'd highly recommend it if you like chewy gnocchi paired with a rich, savory-sweet corn cream flavor. I ordered it alongside the pork steak, and the combo of one cream dish and one richly seasoned steak worked really well together.

The cream had just the right creaminess, so it blended well with every ingredient. The look of it matches the cozy space perfectly too, so the photos come out great 🌽✨🌽✨🌽✨ (this part matters a lot!)

Pork Steak, ₩24,000 — served with wasabi and whole-grain mustard

Besides pasta and risotto, Eulji Darak Dosan is also known for its pork steak. Chunky pork shoulder, mushrooms, bell peppers, broccoli, and tomatoes come evenly grilled with steak sauce. Creamy mashed potatoes are served alongside.

The rich sauce on the pork steak pairs so well with the creamy, mild mashed potatoes, and the broccoli — grilled slightly crispy outside but still moist inside — was surprisingly delicious! All the vegetables and pork were cut into big pieces, so the texture was satisfying and the portion was generous, making for a filling meal 👍🏻

Eating it with the wasabi and whole-grain mustard served alongside cut the richness and made a really great combo. It's a good dish for feeding kids too, so I'd highly recommend Eulji Darak Dosan if you're looking for an Apgujeong restaurant to visit with your child!

Katsu Sando, ₩11,000 — tartar sauce loaded with onion

This is the katsu sando at Eulji Darak Dosan, the Apgujeong pasta restaurant with such a nice atmosphere. The katsu sando glistens with juicy shine. A thick, crispy cutlet is sandwiched between slices of bread — it looks great, and the pickles, tomato, and sauce served alongside made for an excellent combo.

The crispy, juicy katsu paired perfectly with the refreshing crunch of the onion-loaded tartar sauce — an ordinary katsu became so special eaten this way. I understand now why it's known as a top Apgujeong blind-date restaurant!

The katsu sando is light enough for lunch but also works great as a date menu, making Eulji Darak Dosan a place I want to visit again. It's an Apgujeong restaurant I'd recommend for both atmosphere and taste — Eulji Darak Dosan!
