Tobeu Nain Pangyo Main Branch: a 10-minute drive from Pangyo Station
Tobeu Nain Pangyo is a Western-style restaurant near Pangyo Station, at 56 Sasong-ro, 1st floor, Sujeong-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do. Restaurant hours are 10:30-21:00, with break time 15:00-17:00, and last order at 19:50.
Tobeu Nain Pangyo is less than a 10-minute drive from Pangyo Station. If you want to escape the busy downtown and enjoy brunch in a quiet atmosphere, this is a place I really want to recommend..! Vibe + taste + kindness — it doesn't miss on any of them.

I went on a little Pangyo outing after a while! I really love Western food, but I'm quite picky about it, so it's hard for me to find a Western restaurant that suits my taste. But Tobeu Nain Pangyo totally hit the spot!

The moment I saw the Caputo flour from Italy on display, along with the wood-fired oven, I thought, ah, this place is the real deal! My mouth was already watering.

Weekday lunch wait and seating: if the first floor is full, go upstairs
I visited around 12:30pm on a weekday and honestly thought it wouldn't be crowded, but no — the first floor was already fully booked. Luckily the second floor has a large seating area, so you don't really need to worry about not finding a seat :)

Here's why I recommend Tobeu Nain Pangyo as a brunch spot in the area. Isn't a satisfying brunch place = a place with a great atmosphere? Tobeu Nain's vibe was really good, and the aesthetic totally suited my taste haha.

This is the second-floor space. Since Tobeu Nain is a restaurant and café combined, people who mainly want coffee tend to use the second floor. The space is so pretty, and with the nice weather, I felt myself softening up~

Please check the photo for Tobeu Nain's drink menu :) The Americano was ₩6,000. Iced Americano prices are a bit on the higher side, but the atmosphere is so good...

Tableware is set up separately like this, so if you need more, just go grab it yourself!

Baby chairs and warmed baby food at Tobeu Nain Pangyo
Tobeu Nain Pangyo Main Branch even has baby chairs, so I could comfortably sit my son down and eat. It overlapped with his baby food time, and somehow they noticed and offered ahead of time to warm up the baby food if needed — I was..really touched, TT. Taking a baby to a restaurant usually means feeling super self-conscious, but the staff were very kind...

Half-moon focaccia with garlic butter, 8,000 won
To fill up lightly before the meal, I ordered the half-moon focaccia (garlic butter). It felt like eating pre-meal bread for ₩8,000~

It was very chewy and delicious. Isn't wood-fired pizza dough supposed to be crispy outside, chewy inside? The inside was really, really chewy and springy haha. The garlic butter flavor was great too~

Truffle white ragu pasta 19.9: how was the pasta cooked?
For the meal, I first ordered the truffle white ragu pasta (19.9). I love truffle, and I really love white ragu too... Such a delicious dish.

The savory, umami-packed white ragu paired so well with the truffle sauce. The noodles were also cooked just right to eat.

I'm picky about noodle texture too, so I worried it might be overcooked, but it was just right haha.

Eating it piping hot right when it came out, it was warm and soft, slurping right into my mouth haha.

Wood-fired margherita 2.2, the classic choice
For pizza, I ordered the margherita (2.2). Whenever I go to a wood-fired pizza place, I always order margherita without fail. It's the most classic pizza, but the combination and flavor of tomato, basil, and mozzarella is always excellent. Light yet full of flavor — it always satisfies me. Tobeu Nain's margherita was really delicious too.
Free egg tart with a receipt review

If you write a receipt review, you actually get a free egg tart. I didn't eat it at the restaurant but took it home and had it that evening when I got hungry.. wow, it was a proper tart, with the egg filling packed full of cream. It was pleasantly sweet with a rich egg aroma, and I really enjoyed it :)
Pangyo has gotten so crowded and busy these days, so if you want to avoid the crowds for a quiet date or a family gathering at a Western restaurant, definitely go to Tobeu Nain!
