Places that are pretty tend to have cramped seating, and places that are spacious are just plain eateries — and once you factor in a stroller, there's really nowhere to go.

This restaurant solved that exact problem, so I think it could help anyone with the same worry. (∗❛⌄❛∗) My sister took a day off just to see the baby, so she, my dad, and the baby all came along, and we went out for Western-style brunch, a well-known spot near Pangyo Station ⋆.˚ ᡣ𐭩 .𖥔˚

Is parking easy at Tobeu Nain? Parking and the building 🚗

There's a parking space in front of the building, so on a weekday afternoon we had no trouble finding a spot. That said, the parking isn't super spacious, so on weekends or if you're coming with a group, it might be good to arrive a bit early.

Tobeu Nain looks striking from the outside, too — it's known for pasta dates and brunch desserts near Pangyo Station.

The moment I walked in, it felt like I'd stepped abroad. It didn't feel like a café — more like walking into a pretty living room somewhere overseas. ₊˚ෆ⊹.ᐟ

The 1st and 2nd floors are both really big. With such high ceilings, the space never feels cramped, and that open feeling — honestly, coming out with a baby, it felt like it opened up the stuffiness that comes with parenting.

Every table has a different style — some have wood tables with classic high-backed chairs, and others are decorated with lace curtains and ornaments.

The second floor

It was nice being able to sit wherever suited your taste.

We went on a weekday afternoon, and the 1st floor was nearly full (so many customers that I mostly ended up photographing the 2nd floor), while the 2nd floor was relatively quiet.

There's a separate room on the 2nd floor, and this is the group room for 10 or more. Isn't it perfect for group gatherings??? Great for family meals, friend get-togethers, or work dinners. I'd actually been wondering where to take the family after the baby's 100-day celebration, and now I'm thinking of doing it here ♡˖⊹

What's on the menu at Tobeu Nain? 📋

The menu is really varied — pasta, risotto, pizza, steak, and brunch dishes too. It had been almost two months since I last went out to eat with family because of the baby, so my sister and I spent a long time deciding what to order 🥹

Besides food, they also sell bread, soufflé, coffee, and more, and the atmosphere is nice too, so it'd be a great spot to visit as just a café. ღ'ᴗ'ღ

An honest verdict on the three dishes 🍴

Bismarck pizza

This is the dish my sister devoured. There's a big wood-fired oven in the restaurant, and this came out first — baked in the oven, the dough was wonderfully chewy.

The unusual part is that ham covers the entire pizza. When you cut into it, the egg yolk runs out, and dipping the dough into that yolk makes it even better. ₊˚ෆ⊹.ᐟ The salty ham paired really well with the egg yolk. So good ㅠㅠ

Seafood tomato pasta

Crab legs, mussels, and clams were piled high on top of the pasta, so it looked generously loaded from the first glance.

The tomato sauce was rich and thick, and thanks to the seafood broth soaked into it, it had a deep savory flavor that was really good. It was too good to waste, so I kept scooping up the broth.

Steak porcini risotto

With the first spoonful, the porcini aroma comes through before the cream flavor, followed by a salty cheese finish.

The steak came in big chunks, which was delicious paired with the mushrooms, and the portion was generous enough to feel quite filling on its own. Of the three, the pizza was the most memorable for me.

Why Tobeu Nain works for a meal out with a baby 🧸

Usually cafés and restaurants don't have enough space for a stroller, so it's always a worry about where to go. When I made the reservation, I checked whether they had a stroller-friendly spot, and they set up a nice wide table for us. 🫶

Also, the light hanging from the ceiling above where the baby was lying apparently looked like a mobile. She stayed quiet watching it for quite a while, which let dad, my sister, and me eat comfortably ( ˘ ³˘)♥︎

The table spacing is also wide. You could barely hear the next table over, so I didn't worry about the baby making noise while we ate. If you feel like there's nowhere to eat out with a baby, this place might just work for you. ✨

My dad isn't really into Western food like pasta or risotto — whenever we go somewhere together he always says "I'll just have whatever." But here, he said the space was spacious and the food was good. Hearing the word "delicious" from my dad was kind of surprising, and he even said we should come again ᡣ𐭩

Next time, I'm thinking of booking the group room so the whole family can eat out comfortably. Recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable place to have a meal with a baby! 🫶 ღ'ᴗ'ღ
