Cheongchuni Oranda is inside Jeju's Dongmun Market, and you can find it quickly if you enter through Dongmun Gate 2 or Gate 9. Dongmun Market is famous for its food ;) but it's surprisingly large, so it can be a bit confusing.

At Cheongchuni Oranda, young staff were busily making oranda right there in the shop. It was even more fun being able to watch the making and packaging happen right in front of me.

Out front, the various oranda flavors were all displayed clearly, making the menu easy to take in at a glance.

The staff were really friendly and the whole shop felt so energetic that it put me in a good mood too😊 And being able to actually taste several flavors in person was such a nice touch!

Instead of just picking by sight, you can taste it first and choose whatever suits your palate — no way to go wrong at this Jeju Dongmun Market gift spot.

Not hard at all — why this oranda tastes soft and chewy

I actually really like oranda. But you know how if you buy the wrong one, it's so hard it feels like it could crack a tooth😂

But Cheongchuni Oranda was different. Not hard at all — soft, moist, chewy texture! I tried the yuzu oranda, nut oranda, and garlic oranda, and all three flavors were clearly distinct with their own personality, which made the tasting itself really fun.

The yuzu was fragrant, the nut was nutty and savory, and the garlic added a nice umami kick — every single one was delicious👍 Of all the Jeju Dongmun Market snacks I've tried, this one really stuck with me.
