Goyang large café with strawberry latte and room seats: Baedagol

I went to Baedagol Bakery House, a large-scale café in Ilsan, Goyang known for its great atmosphere, and overall I was really satisfied — so let me introduce it in detail!

The parking lot at this Ilsan, Goyang café is right next to the building, so it's easy to park!

Two floors of seating: room-style corners and the terrace

Baedagol Bakery House is a two-story building, so the space felt bigger than I expected!

The seating is also split across several areas, so it was easy to pick a spot when visiting with friends haha

And there was even a room-like space!

There's also terrace seating on the 2nd floor, so you can enjoy a different vibe from indoors

Personally I also liked that there's an outdoor space haha

Drinking coffee indoors is nice, but on a cool day, eating bread and drinks outside would feel like a totally different mood!

What's on the menu and the bread selection at Baedagol Bakery House

The menu at this Ilsan, Goyang café has all kinds of drinks — coffee, tea, lattes, smoothies — so you can pick whatever suits your taste!

And since this café also has a wide range of bakery items, it was fun just browsing all the bread haha

From plain, simple breads to cakes that go easily with coffee, there was a good variety to choose from depending on your taste!

Café latte, caramel macchiato, and strawberry latte compared

For bread we picked salt bread and a butter pretzel! And on top of that we ordered a café latte, a caramel macchiato, and a strawberry latte!

First, the café latte was a solid coffee that went well with the bread! The soft milk flavor blended with the coffee, so it wasn't a style with a strong bitterness.

Compared to the other drinks, the café latte was relatively plain, so it was nice for tasting the bakery flavors as-is haha

The caramel macchiato seemed like it would suit people who prefer sweeter drinks than a café latte!

It has that distinctive sweet caramel aroma, so drinking it with the coffee's slight bitterness added a nice sweetness. If you usually prefer sweeter coffee over an Americano, this is a good pick!

The strawberry latte has no coffee in it, so it's a great option for people who don't really drink coffee! The sweet strawberry flavor and the smooth milk came together for an overall soft drink haha

Personally, I felt the coffee drinks went a bit better with the bread, while the strawberry latte was better for when you just want to enjoy something sweet on its own

How were the salt bread and butter pretzel?

The salt bread (소금빵) has a texture difference between the outside and inside, so with one bite you could taste both the plain bread flavor and the buttery richness!

It has that signature salty flavor of salt bread, so it wasn't bland eaten on its own, and it also paired well with the café latte haha

The outside of the butter pretzel is crisp, with a nutty butter flavor added, so it felt different from regular bread!

You could taste the salty outside and the soft inside together, which made it great to pair with coffee haha
