Hey everyone~!! First things first!! This place is a must-recommend, absolute win. It's sponsored, but I'm going back regardless — taste, price, convenience, atmosphere, it's got it all, so trust this piggy and go. And with the weather turning cool these days, isn't it the perfect season for tearing into meat at an outdoor patio table? 💛 I've been stuffing my face every day lately, getting rounder and rounder, but from all this eating around I'm slowly turning into a certified foodie master haha... This time I dug up another Baekseok Station gem, a samgyeopsal (pork belly) spot — and it's got outdoor patio seating!!! This piggy who loves patio dining got super excited haha. Delicious pork belly with Baekseok Station patio vibes — dieting can wait, am I right?!
This time I visited a Baekseok Station restaurant that's famous for its patio atmosphere among the meat restaurants in Ilsan Baekseok-dong — 'Baekseok Kkogijip'! It's within stumbling distance from Baekseok Station Exit 6, so it's a total win for family dinners, dates, or work dinners in Baekseok-dong >_<💛

Inside Baekseok Kkogijip: why the pork arrives fully grilled

The moment I arrived, the open patio atmosphere hit me first, then I stepped inside and the clean, pleasant interior hit me second. But you know what's the actual best part here...? The meat comes 100% pre-grilled straight from the kitchen!!! 🔥

Grilling meat yourself usually means your clothes reek of smoke and you're sweating buckets, but here you just sit there comfortably and pick up your chopsticks... No conversation getting interrupted by grilling duty, no lingering smell — honestly perfect for a date or a work dinner (tearing up with emotion) 🥺✨
What we ordered at Baekseok Kkogijip and what it cost
My pick for today was a solid, well-rounded set!
- Raw meat platter (pork belly + pork neck) 360g + beef tartare sample + kimchi stew (swapped for soybean paste risotto) - ₩49,000
- Soju (Chamisul/Chumchurum/Saero) - ₩5,000
- Beer (Kloud) - ₩5,000
Actually, since the default kimchi stew could be swapped free for soybean paste risotto, I didn't even hesitate haha. If you eat meat without ordering a carb combo, they should revoke your piggy license 🤪

The beef tartare taster
After a short wait, the beef tartare arrived first. The tartare that comes with a set at most BBQ places usually has a slight off smell or is just mediocre, but this one was completely fresh and delicious... I took one bite and immediately ordered a somaek (soju-beer mix) haha.

360g raw pork platter kept hot on a solid fuel burner
While I was busy clinking glasses with the tartare, the side dishes came out followed by the gorgeous-looking raw meat platter! The pork belly and pork neck arrived golden brown, grilled to perfect doneness, and the solid fuel burner kept it gently warm so I could enjoy even the last piece hot.
Paired with the accompanying green chili peppers, onions, and mushrooms, it was an explosion of juicy flavor... crispy outside, tender inside — the taste of a true meat master's work, honestly ㅠㅠ👍

Doenjang sulbap with steamed egg and corn cheese sides
On top of that, a big spoonful of the hot, savory soybean paste risotto totally reset my stomach... haha. Plus the soft steamed egg and corn cheese came included as standard, filling out the table beautifully 💛

Free old-style patbingsu for a receipt review
Oh right! If you write a receipt review, they give you a free serving of cool, sweet old-style patbingsu (red bean shaved ice) to top things off — the perfect finishing touch! Make sure to write your review and claim your shaved ice too haha!!

The comfort of pre-grilled meat, the emotional atmosphere of an outdoor patio, and juicy pork belly and pork neck to boot! If you're looking for a meat restaurant near Baekseok Station, I seriously, strongly recommend Baekseok Kkogijip. 🐷✨
