Pocheon bakery café with decaf coffee and Mont Blanc: Geurine Oasis

I visited Geurine Oasis, a large café in Gomo-ri, Pocheon. From the exterior to the interior, it has a reservoir view that takes in Gomo Reservoir at a glance, so this bakery café was already full of guests! The bread and coffee were delicious, but above all, the atmosphere was seriously so good that I wanted to go every day ^^b

I think it may be the prettiest of the cafés in Gomo-ri! You can see the reservoir all at once, have a little fire-gazing, and even bring your dog, so there is really no reason not to go. There are parking areas both in front of and behind the café, making parking easy; when it is busy, such as on weekends, it seems they direct you to a separate parking area.

Geurine Oasis is a large café divided into a main building, annex, and outdoor tables! Since it is also a café that sells bakery items, I really, really recommend it. It is especially great for dates, weekend outings, and time with family; dogs are welcome and there is even a dog run, so I highly recommend it to families with pets too.

The main building contains both the ordering area and the bakery display, so dogs are restricted from entering it. But there is a separate fenced exercise area outside for the doggies!

This is the way to the outdoor area, and I think it may be Geurine Oasis's best photo spot... So pretty, right? I have also visited during the Christmas season, and it was decorated so beautifully then too. It is truly lovely to visit all year round..

I went on a weekday, so it was quieter than a weekend, but the outdoor tables were already full! It will be even busier on weekends, haha. Still, it is a café with plenty of reasons to go even when it is crowded.

The bakery lineup was insane. I am a mom-to-be with gestational diabetes, so I should not be eating bread!!!! But I could not resist and had one piece of bread..

Everything honestly looked delicious, but I had one pastry Mont Blanc ㅠㅠ I wanted to eat them all, honestly, but after a healthy delivery, I will come back and make sure to try the chocolate pastry too..

The dog run is amazing, right? Next time, I need to come with my pup too. It was fenced in, so it felt like an environment where dogs could run and play safely.

This is the exterior of the annex. The buildings are so pretty that there are photo spots everywhere, front and back! This side is the main building.

The building behind you is so pretty, while in front of you, the Geurine Oasis logo and Gomo Reservoir spread out in one view, making for the best atmosphere.

I love Gomo-ri and have visited so many cafés there, but Geurine Oasis is one of the standouts for both atmosphere and taste!

I wanted to sit outside, but it was already full, so I came to the annex! You can add fire-gazing to tables in the outdoor zone, and kids really love it. The weather was lovely, the coffee was delicious, and there was bread too—what more healing do you need?!

Annex

From the annex, you can enjoy the lake view in a cool, comfortable setting, haha. Whether it was the annex or main building, the staff kept maintaining the space, so every table was clean, which I loved even more!

Decaf coffee that was great for this mom-to-be

Another thing I loved was that they have decaf coffee. For a pregnant mom with gestational diabetes like me, it is hard to find something to drink even when you go to a café. Geurine Oasis had a decaf iced Americano, and I loved that :D

The bread was so soft and delicious, the coffee was good, and the scenery was wonderful too—Geurine Oasis is a café in Gomo-ri, Pocheon with no reason not to visit.

You can get some great life shots too, so if you are driving to Gomo-ri, Pocheon, definitely stop by at least once! :D
