Hapjeong café for hand-drip coffee: Central Site Hapjeong
In short
Central Site Hapjeong is a café in Mapo, Seoul, near Mecenatpolis, serving house-roasted hand-drip coffee and tiramisu. The Colombia Quebraditas Geisha Washed had a delicate peach-punch aroma and gentle acidity, pairing beautifully with the tiramisu. Verdict: a lovely place to revisit on a sunny day.

Outdoor Tables and Pets

This is where it is! Under the stylish English sign reading “CENTRALSITE COFFEE ROASTERS,” lots of people were relaxing at the outdoor bench tables. It felt just right for enjoying a cup of coffee outside on a sunny day!
I could also see guests enjoying coffee with their pets at the outdoor tables, and they looked so relaxed and happy.

Being a pet-friendly café made it even more appealing! 🐶
A Bright Interior with Floor-to-Ceiling Windows

As soon as I stepped inside, the gentle aroma of coffee greeted my nose first. 🤎

The bright natural light streaming through the large windows instantly lifted my mood.

I visited during the day, and the lighting was so good that it was perfect for taking photos. 💛💛 With its clean, polished interior and comfortable atmosphere, it was a space where I wanted to linger.

Even though I visited around lunchtime, plenty of people had already filled the seats. No wonder it is considered one of Hapjeong’s notable cafés! 👍
Hand-Drip Coffee Recommended to Your Taste
There were so many kinds of hand-drip coffee that I had a hard time choosing, but the kind staff recommended coffee based on our preferences, which was so nice! 😊

My friend, who does not like acidity, was recommended smooth, nutty beans, while I was recommended coffee with a touch of acidity.

The coffee I ordered was a hand-drip made with Colombia Quebraditas Geisha Washed beans. It had a delicate peach-punch aroma and just a little acidity—such an appealing flavor! ☕ I also loved that it came with a card listing the bean information, so even people who do not know much about coffee can immediately see what kind of beans they are drinking. 😊

Thanks to the staff member who kindly guided us despite being busy, I was really satisfied to get coffee that matched my taste perfectly. The hand-drip was so richly aromatic and deep that I went, “Wow~,” the moment I took a sip. ☕

If you usually love hand-drip coffee, you really should visit!
The Tiramisu and Coffee Pairing

The tiramisu we ordered alongside it was excellent: moist cake topped generously with mascarpone cream and dusted with cocoa powder! 🤎 I really, really recommend this dessert.

It was a dream pairing with the coffee. I also sneakily looked at the desserts other people were having, and lots of them seemed to be eating desserts topped with Lotus biscuits! Next time, I definitely need to try the Lotus tiramisu too, haha.

Central Site Hapjeong was a Hapjeong café with such delicious coffee and a lovely atmosphere that I want to revisit. I think visiting on a day with great weather would make for an even more perfect day! 💛🧡🤎
