I wanted to enjoy a relaxed, delicious meal with someone special, so I headed to Choi Dining Yangju Okjeong, a Japanese restaurant well known in the Okjeong area. Thanks to its refined fusion Japanese menu and stylish interior, it's become word-of-mouth famous both as a date spot and a family dinner place. I usually prefer clean, light Japanese food, and this exceeded my expectations — sharing the full spread with you below.

Where is Choi Dining Yangju Okjeong, and where do you park?
Choi Dining Yangju Okjeong is located on the second floor of Bujaro Tower in the Okjeong main commercial district, and it's easy to find if you use the Shinhan Bank across the street as your landmark. If you're driving, the building's underground parking generously covers your entire meal time, and if it's full, the nearby Dream Tower 2 parking lot is a convenient backup.

Three things that stood out at Choi Dining
- Fusion Japanese food built on fresh ingredients: the frying isn't over-heavy, and the meat is handled with no gamey smell, so every dish finishes clean.
- A comfortable dining space: with couple seats, single seats, and group seats all available, it suits solo dining, dates, and group meals alike.
- Alcohol and convenience perks: free corkage service lets you enjoy your favorite drinks alongside a relaxed meal.
With a menu that lets the natural flavor of fresh ingredients shine, friendly service, and a pleasant store atmosphere all in place, it made for a wonderful time with someone special. If you're looking for a tidy, well-put-together Japanese restaurant in Okjeong, I'd recommend Choi Dining Yangju Okjeong with a 200% chance of returning.
Tasting the katsu sando, shrimp basil pasta and pork jowl rice bowl
Since this was a meal with someone special, I put real thought into the order, and the shrimp basil pasta, pork jowl donburi, and katsu sando I chose all arrived polished and well-made, making the meal even more memorable. Even the fried dishes and donburi, which can easily turn greasy, stayed clean and light down to the last bite thanks to the special sauce and fresh ingredients.
Between the store atmosphere, the parking convenience, and the staff's attentive service, I finished the meal feeling great. If you're looking for a can't-miss fusion Japanese spot or date course near the Okjeong main commercial district, it's worth a visit. Personally, I'd give it a 200% chance of going back.
