Suwon pizza restaurant for crisp-chewy half-and-half: Low Five
In short
Low Five is an Italian restaurant in Suwon, Gyeonggi, known for its half-and-half pizzas. A ₩26,000 corn and hot pepperoni pizza and ₩23,000 classic lasagna were satisfying, though weekday evening waits are possible. Verdict: Go for the corn and hot pepperoni half-and-half on a first visit.

I went to Low Five, which is famous for its corn pizza, while visiting Haenggung-dong.

Low Five location and hours
It is on the first floor at 59 Sinpung-ro 23beon-gil, Paldal-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi-do. Hours are 11:20–21:00, with a break from 15:00–16:50, and last orders at 19:30. It is closed on Tuesdays and may close early if ingredients sell out.
Even a weekday afternoon wait
I visited around 5 p.m. on a weekday and was surprised that it was already almost full. People who arrived while we were eating put their names down and waited.
If you want to eat without rushing, I recommend arriving when the break ends, or registering for the waitlist on Catch Table before you visit.
What is the wood-toned window-side atmosphere like?

The interior felt cozy with its wood tones. It was decorated in an effortlessly pretty way, and the floor-to-ceiling window seats had a lovely view of the pine trees outside—such a nice atmosphere for a date, too!
Tablet ordering menu

You order from a tablet at the table. I ordered the half-and-half pizza (₩26,000) and classic lasagna (₩23,000).
A self-serve bar with Parmesan and chili sauce

The self-serve bar has Parmesan cheese and Tabasco sauce (chili sauce). I brought over the chili sauce and drizzled it on the corn pizza, and it went so well with it. Water, paper cups, and cutlery are also available at the self-serve bar!
Corn and hot pepperoni half-and-half pizza

Both the corn pizza and hot pepperoni pizza sounded delicious, so I got half and half. It comes with six slices in total, three of each kind!
- Corn pizza: white truffle cream, bacon, chili shrimp, butter seasoning, and grilled corn
- Hot pepperoni pizza: red sauce, pepperoni, olives, mushrooms, red onion, and jalapeños

The dough felt like it took only the best parts of thick-crust and thin-crust pizza. It was crisp outside and fluffy inside, so even though I usually leave the crust edges, I happily finished them all.

The red sauce on the hot pepperoni really cuts through the richness. It was smooth and spicy, a little like a spicy cream pasta sauce. I also loved the crunch of red onion in the middle.
Even if you do not handle spicy food well, it is manageable as long as you leave off the jalapeños.

Honestly, I had no idea what the corn pizza would taste like, but the white truffle cream was wonderfully flavorful and the gentle sweetness of the corn was so appealing. Whole pieces of grilled corn are on top.
Limited-quantity classic lasagna

The classic lasagna is available in limited quantities, and luckily I was able to order it! They let us know that the dish would be hot, so be careful. They said they could reheat it once it cooled, but thanks to the hot dish, it stayed warm and delicious until the last bite.

They really do not skimp on the cheese. The ragù sauce was rich and had a clearly defined flavor, which I loved. The lasagna sheets were quite chewy, giving it a nice bite.
The combination I recommend for a first visit
Both kinds of pizza were delicious, so for a first visit, I recommend the corn + hot pepperoni half-and-half. The lasagna was satisfying too, with its rich ragù sauce, haha. There may be a bit of a wait, so I recommend joining the waitlist on Catch Table ahead of time!
