Uijeongbu large café with gallery-like maze seating zones: Forerest

I had a reason to be in Uijeongbu and heard there was a café with a great atmosphere and good food, so I went to check it out. Walking in, I actually felt like I'd stepped inside an art museum. The exterior was so pretty too, it really felt like walking into a forest~!

Here's my review after visiting Forerest, a large café in Uijeongbu known for its Basque cheesecake, café mocha, and decaf iced americano 👍🏻

Parking was easy and convenient. Looking again, they're open until quite a late hour 👍🏻 If you're looking for a good-vibe café open late in Uijeongbu, this is the place :) Note that on weekends and holidays, seating time is limited to 2 hours~!

It really felt like stepping into a forest. Even the entrance was so pretty~~ ♥️♥️

Seating zones that feel like a maze

Inside Forerest there are long tables and the space is divided into separate zones, so there were tons of seats. It felt like solving a maze haha. It's really a unique, one-of-a-kind café. Everything was so pretty and the atmosphere was great, and each of the varied seating areas had a totally different feel.

There's also a big, striking painting on the wall — an overwhelming scale. The overall vibe is calm, and you can really feel the café owner's own sensibility of having stepped into a forest.

Forerest's dessert menu only had Basque cheesecake, which seems to be their signature item.

Forerest's Basque cheesecake is genuinely dense like a brownie — one bite in and you can't help but say wow, this is good. I ordered both chocolate and black sesame flavors, and I'm team chocolate!!!! It's the best ㅠㅠ

You can see the fork mark still holding its shape — that's how dense and creamy it is..? If you want to try truly delicious Basque cheesecake, visit Forerest's Uijeongbu location. It's so good you'll find yourself thinking about it again. I recommend it as a Uijeongbu café with both great atmosphere and great taste.
