Suji noodle restaurant with free mall parking and a mazesoba udon trio

This time I visited Chilseong Jemyeonso Suji Main Branch! It's a spot where you can order everything from noodle dishes to pork cutlet, so it's great when you want to order a bunch of different things.

Parking at Chilseong Jemyeonso Suji Main Branch: free in the building's mall lot

First, let me explain the parking situation..! Chilseong Jemyeonso Suji Branch lets you use the commercial parking lot inside the building where the restaurant is located, which made it easy to visit by car.

No need to hunt for a separate parking lot elsewhere — just park in the building lot. When I visited, free parking was available without registering with the restaurant. It was nice not having to worry about parking when I came for a meal, so if you're driving, the building's commercial lot should work fine :)

There was a self-serve bar too haha, and it turned out they had several baby chairs on hand.

What we ordered: mazesoba udon, cold buckwheat soba and real cheese pork cutlet

We ordered mazesoba udon, cold buckwheat soba, and real cheese pork cutlet that day, and picked a zero-calorie cola for our drink :) Rather than sticking to one dish, we ordered two different noodle dishes plus a pork cutlet and shared everything — the styles were different enough that the combination worked quite well.

What does the mazesoba udon taste like?

First up, mazesoba udon! If you usually like dishes where you mix the sauce and noodles together — like mazesoba or bibim udon — this is a great one to enjoy.

Mixing the seasoning and noodles thoroughly brought out a rich, deep flavor overall, and it went really well with the chewy udon noodles. It's clearly a different experience from a plain broth udon, so it's a good pick when you're craving something a bit richer and punchier.

Cold buckwheat soba: refreshing and clean-tasting

My husband ordered the cold buckwheat soba! After the rich mazesoba udon, moving to the cool soba felt like a totally different world haha. It was refreshing and clean, almost like a palate reset.

If mazesoba udon is rich and full-flavored, cold buckwheat soba is relatively light and refreshing in comparison, so ordering both together and alternating between them was fun. If you're usually a fan of buckwheat soba, this is a safe bet to order alongside something else.

Real cheese pork cutlet: the easiest dish to share

And then the real cheese pork cutlet! It felt like just ordering noodle dishes would be a bit lacking, so we added this too — and sure enough, adding a cutlet made the whole spread much more filling.

True to its name, the 'real cheese pork cutlet' actually has cheese inside, so it's much richer and heartier than a regular cutlet! A crispy cutlet plus cheese combo is basically impossible to mess up haha. It paired well with both the mazesoba udon and the soba, so if you're visiting with a few people, it's a good one to order and share. Sipping the cold zero-calorie cola in between bites also went really well with the cutlet and the mazesoba udon :)

Which dish should you order at Chilseong Jemyeonso Suji?

If you're having trouble deciding like we were, it's a good idea to order dishes with different styles. Mazesoba udon has a rich seasoned flavor, cold buckwheat soba is refreshing, and real cheese pork cutlet is savory and filling — each one had quite a distinct character. Being able to taste several different types at one table was a plus.

Overall, Chilseong Jemyeonso Suji Branch stood out for letting you pick from familiar dishes — udon, buckwheat soba, and pork cutlet — all in one place. It's convenient when a group visits and everyone wants something different, or when you want noodles and cutlet together.

Personally, taste preferences vary a lot from person to person, so which dish suits you best will come down to your own taste. If you like rich seasoning, go for the mazesoba udon; if you like refreshing noodles, go for the cold buckwheat soba; and if you like cutlet with cheese, the real cheese pork cutlet should do the trick haha.
