Pre-meal bread and potato cream soup

Table set and ready before the meal
Warm, freshly baked pre-meal bread

First up was the pre-meal bread! It came out warm and freshly baked, crisp outside and soft inside — dip it lightly in balsamic oil and it's just the thing to wake up your appetite before the meal 👍

Potato cream soup, the soup of the day

The soup of the day we ordered was potato cream soup! The nutty flavor of the potato and the smoothness of the cream went really well together :) It's mild and not at all overpowering, so it gently eases your stomach before the meal ☺️

The main course: lamb chop steak with mint jelly

The main lamb chop steak plated

The lamb chop steak that arrived as the main dish was stunning to look at, right from the start ✨

Cross-section of the lamb chop cooked to the requested doneness
Close-up of the lamb chop steak

It was cooked exactly to the doneness we asked for, and had almost none of that characteristic lamb gaminess, so it was delicious even with just a dab of salt and pepper :)

Mint jelly and other sauces served with the lamb chops

The sauces served alongside really elevated the flavor of the meat even further! My favorite combo was lamb chop plus mint jelly 👍 It went beautifully with the roasted vegetables and garnish too~

Shrimp rosé risotto and the peach sherbet finish

Shrimp rosé risotto ordered as a side dish

Since steak alone felt like it wasn't quite enough, we ordered shrimp rosé risotto to go with it — and it was a total success 😎

A spoonful of the rosé sauce risotto

The plump, juicy shrimp that pop with each bite made it fun to chew, and the rosé sauce itself was delicious without being heavy at all 👍

Peach sherbet served as dessert after the meal

Since we visited on a weekday reservation, we got to choose between an americano or peach sherbet after the meal, and I went with the peach sherbet! Even the plating was gorgeous ✨ Such a refreshing, perfect way to finish the meal :)
