Pyeongtaek forest-view café open weekends only, green juice: Sisup

My husband and I headed out to Sisup, a large café in Pyeongtaek, for a little weekend refresh! The weather was so bright and clear that I went looking for somewhere with a pretty outdoor garden, and this place fit the bill perfectly haha. The moment we arrived, the huge parking lot and the scenery under the blue sky already had me excited~

Parking and the entrance at Sisup: how easy is the arrival?

The parking lot alone was so spacious that even new drivers could pull in comfortably! Under the wide open sky, the clean white-toned building caught my eye right away haha.

There was a notice near the entrance saying that, due to internal circumstances, they're currently only open on weekends. Just Saturdays and Sundays, from 10:30am to 7pm, so keep that in mind!

Inside Sisup: floor-to-ceiling forest views and how far apart the seats are

Stepping inside Sisup, the counter was so neatly styled that it made a great first impression haha. The wood-toned shelving and green plants were arranged in a way that made me feel instantly at ease~

The interior has high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, so the sense of openness was incredible! The green forest view outside the window felt like a picture framed on the wall~

The seats were spaced generously too, so even on a weekend afternoon it never felt crowded haha. It had such a quiet, peaceful atmosphere — perfect for chatting away with my husband on a date!

How the Sinobe brown croffle, plain scone and green juice taste

When everything we ordered was laid out on the table, it passed the visual test right away! The iced americano, green juice, and sweet dessert made such a great combo haha.

The dish I was most excited for was the Sinobe brown croffle (a croissant-waffle hybrid) topped with Häagen-Dazs ice cream!

On top of the crisply toasted croffle sat a generous helping of ice cream and brown cheese. The banana served alongside was cut into neat bite-sized pieces and sprinkled with nuts for a nutty crunch!

The sweet ice cream mixed with the salty richness of the cheese and made my mouth so happy haha.

The plain scone was crisp on the outside and moist inside, keeping its texture — a perfect match with coffee!

Piling on the strawberry jam and cream that came with it doubled the sweetness haha.

The iced americano had a clean, nutty taste with no sourness, so it balanced out the sweetness of the desserts nicely! The checkered coaster under the cup matched the café's vibe well too — you could tell the owner has good taste.

The green juice I picked with health in mind tasted as fresh as it looked, filling my mouth with that fresh flavor! It wasn't artificially sweet — you could really taste the ingredients themselves, which made it easy to drink without feeling guilty haha.

Taking a bite of the croffle piled high with ice cream instantly melted away all my stress! Tasting it for myself, I finally understood why this place is known as a brunch spot haha.

Sisup's huts, lawn and outdoor terrace — are pets allowed?

Out in the garden, there were separate hut-like spaces lined up side by side! They felt private, almost like being on a camping trip, and I could see why they'd be so popular!

The lawn was really well kept, with parasol seating scattered around — perfect for enjoying that outdoor mood! It's a spacious enough area for families or pet owners to relax comfortably too. That said, pets aren't allowed indoors!

Sitting on the terrace, a cool breeze kept drifting by, and it was healing just to sit still and enjoy it haha.

Is Sisup worth the weekend trip to Pyeongtaek?

Sisup, a large café in Pyeongtaek, was so well kept both indoors and out that it made me want to come back again!
