Burgers and pizza at one table: Roaster Burger in Jeongja-dong
Ever have one of those days where you want a burger and you want pizza? I wanted a burger but my daughter wanted pizza, so we headed to Roaster Burger in Jeongja-dong. Being able to enjoy both menus satisfyingly in one spot was a huge draw.

The classic hamburger had a juicy patty and soft bread, so every bite was packed with flavor.
The potato pizza used Imsil pizza cheese, so you could really taste the savory richness of the cheese. Potato, bacon, and sauce came together nicely, and the pizza dough was also chewy and delicious — I enjoyed it to the very last bite.

We ordered potato pizza, a cola, and the classic burger set.

How was the classic burger set and its smash patty?
Our classic burger set came out together with the drink. The classic burger set arrived with fries, so it felt like a solid, hearty combo. The bun, dusted with sesame seeds, looked soft and warm.

The hamburger bun, studded with sesame seeds, was soft and warm. The classic burger was a solid, no-frills style, loaded with beef patty, cheese, cabbage, and tomato.
The fries were freshly fried, so the crispness was still alive. They were the perfect medium thickness — not too thin, not too thick. Thanks to the sauce drizzled on top, I kept reaching for more without needing any ketchup.

I cut it in half with a knife to make it easier to eat, and you could really feel the characteristics of a beef patty cooked smash-style.

Pressed and seared on the grill, the outside was crisp while the inside stayed juicy, so the flavor deepened the more I chewed. It was clean with no gamey aftertaste, and it blended well with the softness of the bun.
Potato pizza with Imsil cheese on 72-hour fermented dough
About halfway through the burger, our potato pizza came out.

The pizza came with sauce and pickles on the side.

As soon as it arrived, a savory cheese aroma hit my nose — thanks to the Imsil cheese, the cheese's distinct savoriness stood out. The vegan dough, cold-fermented for 72 hours, was a real treat.
The outside was crisp while the inside stayed fluffy and moist, a texture that really came through. Potato, bacon, and the house-made sauce came together well, and along with the chewiness of the pizza dough, I enjoyed it happily down to the last slice. Overall it was a satisfying meal. Being able to enjoy both burgers and pizza at once is this place's charm.
Final verdict!
Roaster Burger in Jeongja-dong left an impression with the harmony of its juicy beef patty and savory Imsil cheese, and it more than held its own as a family dining spot. If you're near Jeongja-dong and torn between wanting good burgers and good pizza, it's worth a visit.
