It had been a while since I'd had brunch, so I went looking for a brunch café around Ilsan and ended up at Like Like Ilsan Juyeop Branch. There aren't actually that many places serving brunch around Juyeop, but it turned out Like Like has a brunch menu. 😊 I was in the mood for something light, so I dropped by.
I get the sense a lot of people search for dog-friendly brunch cafés in Ilsan, or places you can bring your dog along to. This time I visited without my dog, just for the brunch! 🐶
Where is Like Like Ilsan Juyeop Branch, and what is the café like?

Like Like Ilsan Juyeop Branch is about a 6-minute walk from Juyeop Station. It's not too far from the station, but there's a road right out front with traffic, so keep that in mind if you're thinking of sitting on the outdoor terrace. There were about 2 terrace seats. 🌿 Since cars pass right alongside, exhaust and dust could be a bit of a bother, so personally I'd recommend the indoor seats.

The interior was fairly compact overall. There were roughly 10 seats, and it felt more like a small neighborhood café than a big, spacious brunch spot. 😊 It's fine for a quiet brunch or coffee, but seating might be a bit tight for a large group.
What's on the menu at Like Like — including dishes for dogs

The menu at Like Like Ilsan Juyeop Branch was more varied than I expected. There was everything from toast to brunch, sandwiches, and drinks, plus a menu prepared for dogs. 🐶 So for anyone searching for dog-friendly cafés in Ilsan, or a place they can eat alongside their dog, having that option is a real plus.
Prices were about what you'd expect at a typical brunch café, and with so many options I spent a while deciding what to order. 😆
What we ordered at Like Like in Juyeop

After much deliberation, we ordered the honey bacon cheese panini and the rugola cream cheese sandwich set. We also added the homemade potato cream soup and orange juice as set items. 🍊🥔 The menu had plenty of variety, so it was fun just picking what to have.
How long is the wait? About 30 minutes for food
It took about 30 minutes for the food to come out after ordering. 😅 When we visited, aside from our table there was really only one other table that had ordered drinks earlier — the place wasn't backed up with orders. It seemed like they were also preparing delivery orders at the same time, which was probably why the food took a while.
Waiting about 30 minutes while hungry felt a bit long. Still, when the food arrived it was plated neatly, so it was decent for photos. 📸 If you're stopping by while visiting the KINTEX pet fair café area and have a tight schedule, it's worth factoring in that wait time.
What the honey bacon cheese panini tastes like

First, the honey bacon cheese panini! It brought together the sweetness of honey, the saltiness of bacon, and the savory-salty flavor of cheese. 🧀🍯🥓 Ours had quite a lot of honey drizzled on, so it was sweeter than I expected. The panini bread itself wasn't soft and moist — it had a pretty firm, almost overcooked crunch.

Honey + bacon + cheese — you can pretty much guess the flavor going in. The sweet honey, salty bacon, and cheese worked well together as a combination. It wasn't particularly unique or memorable, but it tasted just about exactly as expected. 😊
What the rugola cream cheese sandwich tastes like

The rugola cream cheese sandwich had quite generous fillings. It had cream cheese, ham, rugola (arugula), and young sprouts, and it felt like they hadn't skimped on ingredients. 🥬🥪 The sandwich was thick enough that it was hard to fit a big bite in one go. 😂
With so much rugola and young sprouts packed in, that distinct vegetable flavor and aroma came through strongly. Personally I liked how generous the fillings were, but by the end, the rugola and sprouts were the flavor that lingered the most.
The homemade potato cream soup added to the set

We also tried the homemade potato cream soup we added to the set. It had a thick, rich flavor — a pretty standard potato cream soup. 🥔 Best of all, it came out warm, so it worked well as a kind of appetizer before diving into brunch. Familiar and easy to eat, nothing surprising about it. 😊
Is Like Like Ilsan Juyeop Branch worth a visit? An honest wrap-up
Overall, the food was solid, unremarkable brunch fare. It took about 30 minutes for the food to come out after ordering, and since the store didn't look particularly busy at the time, the wait felt a little long. It seemed like they were preparing delivery orders alongside in-store orders, so if you're short on time, that's worth keeping in mind. ⏰
The menu is fairly varied and there's a dog menu prepared too, so it could be a solid option for anyone looking for dog-friendly cafés in Ilsan. If you're specifically after a dog-friendly brunch café in Ilsan, it's worth checking the menu lineup ahead of time before you visit. 🐶
