I chose some bread and ordered coffee. Personally, I liked the coffee too. No matter how beautiful a space is, I do not tend to return if the coffee disappoints, but that day I was happy to sit back and enjoy the bread and coffee together. In particular, I really loved the sky view from the second-floor outdoor area when I visited. Looking at the wide-open sky made me feel as if I had briefly stepped away from everyday life.

There was also a welcome space for anyone visiting a café with children: a sand playground where kids can play. No matter how pretty a café is, children will not sit still and wait like adults while drinking coffee, after all. 😄 So when you go out with children, it matters just as much that they can have a fun time, even briefly, as what you eat at the café. In that respect, I liked that there was a sand playground.

Parents can enjoy coffee and bread while children spend time at the playground, so I thought it could be a nice destination for a family outing. Private spaces on the second floor. And the sky seen outdoors. Even a sand playground for children. All these strengths flowed together naturally. So rather than visiting with the thought that it is only “a café for eating bread,” I think you will be more satisfied if you see it as a place to slowly enjoy the space while having coffee and bread.

A café to explore slowly after parking

These days, cafés can sometimes feel like small travel destinations. Even without going far away, eating something delicious nearby, walking through a pretty space, and taking a brief rest while looking at the sky can be enough to refresh your mood. I think Baedagol Bakery House may be one of those places. The garden atmosphere begins at the entrance, and you can look around the interior, second floor, and outdoor area, so rather than sitting down as soon as you arrive, I would recommend slowly taking a lap around. Parking can make you hesitate to visit even a wonderful café when it is inconvenient, but I liked that here you can park and then leisurely explore the café and surrounding space.

A visit for enjoying the space itself

The Baedagol Bakery House I visited this time felt like a café where you can enjoy the space itself, rather than simply eat bread and drink coffee before leaving. I liked the pretty atmosphere from the entrance, and the neat, clean interior was comfortable. There was fun in looking over the variety of breads, and I was satisfied with the coffee too. Above all, I liked that there were several private spaces on the second floor, and the sky view from its outdoor area stayed in my memory. The sand playground for children also felt like a plus for family visitors.

It is lovely to go to a café for delicious bread and coffee, but sometimes it is just as nice to walk a little more slowly, look around a pretty space, gaze at the sky, let children play to their hearts’ content, and spend time that seems as if you are doing nothing at all. If I visit again, I would like to sit in the second-floor outdoor space on a nice day, drink a cup of coffee, and look at the sky a little longer.
