Gimhae café with a pampas grass path and baby chairs: Peer a Peer

Now that the sweltering summer is over and the weather has cooled down, I've been taking my baby out more often. Pampas grass is in full bloom these days, so while looking for places to go with my baby, I visited Peer a Peer, a large café in Gimhae.

Where is Peer a Peer in Gimhae, and is there parking?

Peer a Peer is a large café on Jillye-ro in Jillye-myeon, Gimhae, located near the Gimhae Jangyu Outlet and Gimhae Clayarch Museum, so it's a great spot to combine with a visit there. There's a spacious dedicated surface lot right in front of the café, so parking is easy.

Outdoor seats where dogs are welcome

Once you park and step into the café, there's a wide outdoor seating area right away.

The outdoor seats allow dogs, so it's a good Jangyu café to bring your pup along too.

The day I visited, the weather was sunny and the flowers and pampas grass were in full bloom, so the outdoor scenery was really lovely. We even took family photos with the baby along the pampas grass path ❤️ Now let's head inside the café~!

Inside the converted factory at Peer a Peer

Peer a Peer is a large Gimhae café converted from a 40+ year old, 350-pyeong factory.

The interior space is really spacious, so it can accommodate group visits too.

The pampas grass visible through the windows really sets the mood >< It seems like a perfect Gimhae date spot too.

There are art pieces placed throughout the café, so there's plenty to look at.

Why Peer a Peer works with a baby and a stroller

If you visit Peer a Peer on a weekday, you can comfortably use the large sofa seating even with a baby. Since the café space is so spacious, it's easy to move around even with a deluxe stroller, and there's a good spot to park it off to the side.

As soon as we got to the café, our baby was happily chomping away on a teether haha

There are baby chairs too, making it a good Jangyu café to visit with a little one.

The small library inside Peer a Peer

If you go right from the entrance of Peer a Peer, they also run a small library.

There's a quiet space set up where you can enjoy coffee and a book together. Once my baby starts daycare, I'd love to come back here on my own to relax.

Peer a Peer is packed with delicious bakery items, so anyone who loves bread will be happy here.

From amazing-looking bread to a variety of cake slices, it was hard to decide what to get >< After much deliberation, we ordered the best-selling lemon meringue croissant and olive ciabatta.

Our drinks and bread arrived, and they looked amazing.

For drinks, we ordered tomato juice and an iced vanilla latte.

How the olive ciabatta and lemon meringue croissant taste

The olive ciabatta has a really chewy, moist texture — so good. It's got a mild flavor, so it pairs well with coffee.

The lemon meringue croissant has a refreshing cream filling inside, so it's a flavor almost everyone would love without exception. Thanks to the sweet coffee and delicious bread, my husband and I got to set aside our parenting stress for a while.

Peer a Peer is a Jangyu café with delicious bakery items and plenty to enjoy, so it's a place I'd love to visit often.
