This time I visited T Coffee, located in Seongsu-dong! Coming out of Seongsu Station Exit 2 and walking straight in the direction of the café takes about 7 minutes on foot, so it wasn't hard to find at all. It sits a bit off Seongsu's usual busy main street, so even the walk over felt relatively calm.

Going inside the building and down to the basement floor is where you'll find T Coffee! On your first visit you might think, 'wait, there's a café down here?' but once you go down the stairs a stylish space appears, giving off a bit of a hidden-café vibe. Even though it's underground, the structure feels open rather than cramped or dark, so it was much more comfortable and had a really nice atmosphere than I expected.

Stepping inside, the space overall had a calm, cozy feel. The interior was neatly arranged and the table spacing was decent, so it felt easy to stay without worrying much about other people. It has a different vibe from the noisier Seongsu cafés, so it was a good place to quietly sip coffee and pass the time. Coming alone to relax with coffee or read a book worked well, and it was also a fine space to bring a laptop and get some work done.

That's probably why, when I visited, I noticed a lot of solo visitors and office workers quietly spending time. Overall the place didn't feel overly styled, more comfortable and easy to linger in, which I personally liked. For anyone looking for a quiet café in Seongsu, I'd recommend it as a good Seongsu café for working, going alone, or reading.

What's on the menu at T Coffee?

Looking through T Coffee's menu, there was a wide range from coffee to tea to desserts. Besides the basic coffee options, there were also lighter drinks to enjoy depending on your taste, and desserts were sold alongside, making it a great Seongsu café to pair with coffee. Especially thanks to the quiet, comfortable atmosphere, it felt like a nice spot to order one drink and take your time.

It was a good Seongsu dessert café for coming alone with a coffee to read or work, or for enjoying a light dessert and coffee in Seongsu. The menu wasn't overly complicated, so even on a first visit it was easy to pick a drink without feeling overwhelmed.

Pick-your-own-bean americano and milky cheesecake

This time I ordered an americano and a cheesecake. I liked that with the americano you can choose the coffee beans yourself, so you can pick according to your taste. Since the flavor changes depending on the beans, I think even people with a strong coffee preference could enjoy picking their own!

With the cheesecake, from the very first bite I could taste a rich, nutty, and smooth milk flavor. It had a soft, melt-in-your-mouth texture rather than being dense, so it was easy to eat without feeling heavy, and the subtle milky flavor was really delicious. Totally my type!!!

Eating it with coffee, the nutty flavor and the coffee's bitterness went really well together, so I kept reaching for another bite. Personally, out of everything I had that day, the cheesecake was especially satisfying and the taste kept coming back to mind. It's the kind of cheesecake I definitely want to have again on my next visit!

T Coffee is a great place to visit in Seongsu when you want to sip a cup of coffee and spend some relaxed time. The atmosphere is calm and comfortable, so it felt easy to visit alone, and it was also a good place to linger while working on a laptop or reading a book. In particular, I was very satisfied with the combination of the bean-select americano and the soft, richly milky cheesecake!

If you're looking for a more relaxed space than Seongsu's busy cafés, I'd recommend this as a quiet café in Seongsu, a good place to work, and a good place to go alone. It's a spot I'd like to visit again on a day when I want to quietly spend some time by myself!
