Seongsu café behind Pizza Slice: vanilla chai tea at T Coffee
In short
T Coffee is a basement café in Seongsu, Seoul, set just off the main Achasan-ro street near Seongsu Station and sharing its space with the Pizza Slice shop. On a break from a Seongsu pop-up store tour, the vanilla chai tea ICE blended spices and vanilla smoothly while the mint latte ICE finished light and fresh. T Coffee stays relatively quiet even on weekends, so it works well as a rest stop between pop-up visits.

In Seongsu, just wandering between pop-up stores can eat up half a day. That's exactly what happened this time, and while looking for somewhere to rest between pop-ups, I found T Coffee. It shares its space with Pizza Slice, so it was the perfect Seongsu café to relax over a coffee.

Where is T Coffee in Seongsu, and what are its hours?
T Coffee Seongsu is located at 159 Achasan-ro, B1, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. It's open 09:00–20:00 on weekdays and 11:00–20:00 on weekends.
It's set slightly off Seongsu's main street. Since you head down to a basement, you might walk right past it at first — which actually gives it that hidden-spot-only-locals-know feel!!

You walk in through Pizza Slice, and just a bit further inside you'll spot T Coffee! Seongsu cafés are often packed on weekends with no seats to be found, but T Coffee felt relatively relaxed, which I loved. It was a comfortable space to just sit and rest for a while.

A basement space that still feels wide and airy
The inside of T Coffee was much more spacious and pleasant than I expected! Even though it's underground, it doesn't feel cramped at all — natural light comes in and gives it a relaxed atmosphere 🌱 Great for working on a laptop or having a quiet chat with a friend.

T Coffee's drink menu and dessert showcase
T Coffee had a wide range of coffee and non-coffee drinks, plus quite a lot of desserts. From signature drinks to chai tea and lattes, there was plenty to choose from depending on your mood.

The showcase had all kinds of cakes and desserts ready to go. From slice cakes perfect with coffee to rich, dense-style desserts, it was fun just to look. Definitely a place I want to come back to and try the desserts too!

They even had this cute little water station~ So what did I end up ordering?

Ta-da, here's our order! I'll show you each one below. Spoiler: both drinks had their own distinct character and different charms. The mint latte was clean and refreshing, while the vanilla chai tea was sweet and fragrant — both memorable in their own way 😊

Vanilla chai tea ICE at T Coffee
Personally, the most memorable menu item at T Coffee was the vanilla chai tea ICE 🤍 The distinct spice flavor of chai tea combined with vanilla's sweetness made for a smooth, easy sip. The cinnamon and spice notes weren't overwhelming, so even first-time chai tea drinkers could give it a try without hesitation. The kind of taste that quietly stays on your mind with every sip!

Mint latte ICE at T Coffee
The mint latte ICE had a subtle, cooling mint quality to it. It wasn't a strong, toothpaste-like mint — more soft and clean, so it was easy to drink without feeling overwhelmed. Sweet up front with a refreshing finish, this was the perfect drink to cool off while wandering around Seongsu!

Why T Coffee is a good break during a Seongsu pop-up tour
T Coffee was a great café to take a break in during a Seongsu pop-up tour. The cozy basement atmosphere and spacious seating were appealing, and being able to enjoy Pizza Slice in the same space was a nice bonus 🍕 It's a Seongsu spot where you can enjoy pop-ups, café time, and dessert all in one place. If you want a quiet cup of coffee and a bit of downtime in Seongsu, this is worth a visit.
