Seongsu café with no weekday wait: lemon ginger sparkling at T Coffee

Today I visited T Coffee, a quiet café in Seongsu! Seongsu is always so packed that I've been on the hunt for a calmer spot, and this place is exactly it!! So here's my T Coffee review!! :)

How to find T Coffee near Seongsu Station: B1, past the pizza restaurant

T Coffee is at 159 Achasan-ro, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, on the basement level. Since it's B1, you head down some stairs. Follow along closely!!

You go down these stairs and there's a pizza restaurant — you actually walk through it to get inside!! The café sits just past the pizza place. It was a little tricky to find the first time.

So the café is located just behind the pizza restaurant. Walking further in, we arrived at T Coffee. It was bigger than I expected — I was surprised. We visited on a weekday afternoon.

I love coffee so I ordered from the coffee menu. My friend doesn't drink coffee, so she ordered something else. I'll cover what we ordered in detail below!

There was also a good variety of desserts. They looked delicious and I thought about trying one, but I was too full.

I wanted to try a dessert too, but I'd already had lunch and was full. Next time I'll definitely try one!! They looked pretty and tasty! Next time I'll come before eating a meal. I'm so sad I missed out on dessert!

T Coffee's weekday afternoon mood and seating

Visiting on a weekday afternoon, it was quiet and relaxed. Seongsu is usually packed and chaotic with people, but this place is calm and cozy. I'm so glad we came here. It doesn't even feel like Seongsu. They have water available to drink and tissues you can freely use.

There was a great variety of chairs too. Each seat had a different vibe, which felt fresh. The atmosphere here is genuinely great.

There were even bench-style seats like this. This chair felt pretty unique — it had the feel of a park bench.

There were a few customers inside but seats were plentiful. We got in right away with no wait. Being a weekday, it wasn't crowded, which was nice.

We sat in this red chair. The seat was spacious and comfortable. We ordered our drinks and the staff were friendly.

The decor here felt very tasteful.

Each table had a candle lit, and the atmosphere was so good it would make a great date spot. Next time I want to come back for a date.

It seems like a place that really specializes in coffee. There were so many coffee options I spent a long time deciding what to drink. So many drinks looked delicious!! And having plenty of non-coffee options too is really great.

How the lemon ginger sparkling and iced vanilla bean latte taste

At T Coffee, my friend ordered the lemon ginger sparkling and I ordered the iced vanilla bean latte.

This is the lemon ginger sparkling. It was refreshing and cool — I loved it. My friend ordered it and it was so good. The ginger flavor was subtle, which was nice. If you like lemonade, this is a drink I'd recommend.

This is the iced vanilla bean latte. Sweet but clean-tasting. It wasn't too sweet, which I liked. The milk wasn't heavy or cloying, which was great.

Is T Coffee a good quiet café in Seongsu? Would I go back?

So that was my visit to T Coffee, the quiet café in Seongsu. I went with a friend, just the two of us. Quiet and healing — I loved it so much. From now on, whenever I'm in Seongsu, I'm definitely coming here!! It's a café I really love.

The atmosphere was great and the drinks were delicious. They also bring the drinks right to your table, which was convenient. If you're looking for a quiet café in Seongsu, I'd recommend T Coffee. This was my first visit and I loved it so much that I'll definitely come back the next time I'm in Seongsu.
